Terrell Barnes, 8th grade, 6’5” Terrell comes to us from College Park along with his brother, Chris. He played for Team last season, which came in second at the Georgia Games. He played for North Clayton Middle School last year. Derek Duvall, Junior, 6’5” Derek played for Team Georgia last season and has been on the CCS squad for several years. Petras Balocka, Junior, 6’8” , Lithuania Carlos Morais, Junior, 6’4”, Angola Petras is a 6’8” junior from Vilnius, Lithuania, where he played for 11 years at Vilnius Basketball School and 4 years on the junior Carlos is a quick, athletic guard who played for the Angolan National Team. He is a smart player with a great 3-point shot who can national team. He spent the past two years at Jones County High School in central Georgia. also handle the ball, pass, and rebound. He has verbally committed to Kansas State University. Solomon Tat, Junior, 6’5”, Nigeria Solomon is in his second year at CCS. He is from Jos-Plateau State in Nigeria, where he was a gold medalist in the National Sports Festival. He won a gold medal in the African Junior Basketball Championship, the Hillcrest Tournament, and in the slam dunk contests at Hillcrest and the Metro League. He won silver medals in the African Cup of Nations and the Nike Tournament in France. He played in the World Junior Championships in Greece, and the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. He was named best team player on the Richard Givens all-tournament team. His AAU team won second place in the state this past year and made it to the final eight in the national championships. Paulius Cibulskis, Junior, 6’8”, Lithuania Paulis is from Vilnius, Lithuania. He began his basketball career at the Vilnius Basketball School when he was 13. The Vilnius School became the “Soruino Morciulionio Basketball School,” and Paulis played there for three and a half years before coming to the . Jakub Gadomski, Junior, 6’8”, Poland Jakub comes to us from Dzierzoniow, Poland, where he played for the Slask Wroclaw Club. After two years in that program, he earned a spot on the Polish National Junior Team. He has played in the Polish Junior Championships. Jakub is happy to be in Stockbridge playing with other great players and learning from Coach Linzy. Cortez Johnson, Junior, 6’6” C. J. comes to us from Albany, Georgia. His big brother, Alexander, plays for State University and introduced him to the game. He didn’t join organized basketball until the 7th grade and had to work hard in summer camp to earn a place on his school team. By that fall, he was a starter, and he has continued to learn the value of hard work and being a team player. Kristopher Janiszewski, Junior, 6’10” Kristopher arrived in the United States in September 2004 from Dzierzoniow, Poland. He started playing basketball at age 15, and left his home town at 16 to play for the best junior club team in Poland, Slask Wroclaw. He played last year at Reserve Christian School in . He currently speaks four languages and hopes to study foreign languages as a major in college. Olu Ashaolu, Freshman, 6’ 7”, Canada Olu is from Toronto, Canada, where played for an AAU team called Grassroots. His first game in America was at the AAU nationals in Orlando, Florida. In the past year, he has played all over the United States, but his favorite tournament has been the 2004 ABCD Camp, where he competed against some of the best players in the country. Olu credits his two brothers with introducing him to basketball and says they’re his inspiration as he plays. Ousmane Cisse, Ivory Coast, Sophomore, 6’8”, Africa Linzy Davis Ousmane is from the Ivory Coast of Africa, where he played for the National Team. This past year, he was named “Best Rebounder.” Linzy is the coach and co-director of the Team Georgia Ball Club, a Nike Elite travel team. He has been the USA Junior National Team Coach from 2000 to the present, winning the World Championships in 2001. Carmello Anthony was the MVP of that team. Aric Miller, 8th grade, 5’7” Aric began playing basketball at the age of 10, competing on a team called Parkview. He now plays for the AAU’s Team Georgia. He He’s chairman of Nike’s advisory board for high school basketball, and he earns his living in the hospital supply business. Linzy and attended Tracy Murray’s camp in Los Angeles. Aric lives with his family in Conyers. his wife, Kathy, have one son, Drew, who is a 5th grader at Community Christian. Chris Barnes, Sophomore, 6’9” Chris lives with his family in College Park and was the starting center last year for North Clayton High School. He plays on Head Coach: Linzy Davis the AAU Team Georgia’s Elite Squad, which made it to the elite eight before losing to Boo Williams All-Star Team.
