MPG secures contracts worth S$11.3 million to supply Changi Airport’s upcoming Terminal 4 and 5-storey data centre in Jurong Industrial Estate with standby generators

• 2nd set of major contract wins in 5 months • Healthy order book to provide MPG with a steady flow of activities through to March 2016

Singapore, 10 November 2014 – XMH Holdings Ltd., (“XMH”, “ 新明华控股” or the “Group”), a diesel engine, propulsion and power generating solution provider in the marine and industrial sectors , is pleased to announce that the Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Mech-Power Generator Group (“MPG Group”) has secured two new contracts worth a total of S$11.3 million for the provision of standby generators for Changi Airport’s upcoming Terminal 4 project as well as an upcoming 5-storey data centre project in Jurong Industrial Estate.

The contract with the main contractor for the Changi Airport Terminal 4 project is for the supply, delivery and installation standby generator sets and fuel systems, with delivery scheduled by the 2 nd quarter of 2015.

The contract for the upcoming 5-storey data centre project in Jurong Industrial Estate is also for the supply, delivery and installation standby generator sets and fuel systems, with the first delivery scheduled for December 2014 and final delivery by February 2015.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore ( “IDA” ) has been actively promoting Singapore as a regional data centre hub, with the aim of strengthening its position as an economic hub while simultaneously helping to entrench Singapore as an infocomm and media hub by attracting world- class Internet and media companies to host their content and services here. 1

With the growing demand for data centres in Singapore and an inherent need for the refurbishment and refreshment of approximately 22% of the data centres in Singapore which are 10 years and older, will allow MPG to tap on a very healthy future market. 2

Commenting on the contracts secured by MPG Group, Mr. Elvin Tan Tin Yeow, Chairman and CEO of XMH, said ,

The latest contract wins comes on the heels of MPG’s five (5) earlier contract wins worth S$10.57 million in June this year, catering to three different and major industries and marking the MPG Group’s first set of major contract wins since the completion of its incorporation into the XMH Group. The MPG Group’s current order book on hand together with the addition of these contract wins will provide a sustainable flow of activities through to March 2016. --- The End---
