Albumet "Out Of Ashes" spelades in i Los Angeles, Howard Benson har producerat. Han har tidigare jobbat med band som Motorhead och My Chemical Romance. 2 1.3 Tujuan Penelitian Dalam pembuatan karya tulis ini, penulis memiliki tujuan- tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh penulis, antara lain: 1.3.1 Menginformasikan mengenai sejarah terbentuknya Linkin Park 1.3.2 Mengetahui seluk- beluk para personil Lp 1.3.3 Mengajak pembaca mengikuti perkembangan Lp sampai saat ini 1.4 Manfaat Penelitian Adapun manfaat ditulisnya karya tulis ini yaitu: 1.4.1 Mengajak pembaca untuk semakin mendalami musik keras, terutama Lp 1.4.2 Menambah perbendaharaan kajian bagi karya tulis ini 1.4.3 Memenuhi tugas akhir Bahasa Indonesia kelas IX 1.5 Metode Penulisan Dalam pembuatan karya tulis ini, penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka, di mana penulis membaca berbagai informasi tentang mereka dari internet (www.wikipedia.org, www.linkinpark.com, www.myspace.com, dan berbagai sumber lainnya). Di samping itu penulis juga menggunakan metode analisis dari berbagai media seperti televisi (mtv, channel v, stasiun tv lokal maupun 3 mancanegara) dan radio (trax, prambors) yang menyiarkan video klip dan lagu- lagu mereka sehingga penulis lebih mengetahui tentang perkembangan Lp.
