Chester Bennington är i vanliga fall sångare i ett av världens främsta rockband, Linkin Park. Nu släpper han debutalbumet "Out Of Ashes" med sitt andra band "Dead By Sunrise". Albumet släpps till hösten via Warner Bros. Records. "Ouf Of Ashes" består av Ryan Shuck (gitarr), Amir Derakh (bas), Brandon Belsky (trummor) och Chester Bennington (sång). Albumet "Out Of Ashes" spelades in i Los Angeles, Howard Benson har producerat. Han har tidigare jobbat med band som Motorhead och My Chemical Romance. Låtarna på "Out Of Ashes" började ta form när Linkin Park hade en ledig period innan de började spela in dubbelplatina albumet "Minutes To Midnight". Chester berättar själv att han skrev en del låtar som kändes och lät riktigt bra, men det var inte i linje med hur Linkin Park låter. "They were darker and moodier than anything I'd come up with for the band. So I decided to work on them on my own rather than turn them over and have them transformed into Linkin Park tracks." Bennington kallar Dead By Sunrise's låtar för mörkare, sexigare och mer personlig än någonting han skrivit förr. Hip-hop referenserna är borta och Bennington's röst får en ny framtoning på "Out Of Ashes". The one-night-only celebration will take place in Los Angeles, at the legendary Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 27, 2017. The singular event marks the first time the five members will be performing on stage together since Chester passed on July 20th. The band will be joined by a number of other artists, for an unforgettable night of music to honor the man who touched the lives of so many around the world. The individual band members intend to contribute their fees from the event to Music For Relief's One More Light Fund in memory of Chester.
