RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (47-8-1-2) welcome the Kootenay ICE (11-37-7-2) to the Art Hauser Centre to continue their homestand. On Monday, the Raiders earned a 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors. Noah Gregor led the way for the Raiders with two goals and two assists. Sean Montgomery and Ozzy Wiesblatt also scored in the win. Boston Bilous stopped 23 shots to earn his eighth win of the season.

VS. KOOTENAY: Tonight is the final meeting of the year between the Raiders and the ICE. The Raiders have won all three games between the two teams this season, including a 7-2 win in the year’s previous meeting at the Art Hauser Centre.

ICE BREAKER: With four points the ICE in Cranbrook in their last meeting, Parker Kelly now has three goals and four assists against Kootenay this season. In his career, the Ottawa Senators prospect has nine goals and seven assists in 14 games against the ICE. Kelly leads the Raiders in points all-time against the ICE while in Kootenay, topping Simon Stransky’s 15 (six goals, nine assists).

ROOKIE GOALS: Ozzy Wiesblatt’s goal on Monday afternoon was his 13th of the season. It’s the most goals a Raiders’ rookie has scored in a season since Luke Coleman also had 13 during the 2015-16 season. Wiesblatt is second on the team in rookie scoring with 32 points, trailing Aliaksei Protas’ 35. The Raiders’ leading rookie goal scorer since the 1996- 97 season was Milan Kraft with 40 goals during the 1998-99 season.

CLIMBING THE HISTORY BOOKS: The Raiders earned their 47th win of the season on Monday, which tied the 1995-96 season for fourth-most wins in a season in the franchise’s WHL history. That year, the Raiders finished with 47 wins, 19 losses, and six ties and were led in scoring by Steve Kelly’s 101 points. The Raiders have reached the 50-win mark three times since joining the WHL, maxing out with 58 wins during the 1984-85 season.

MULTI-GOAL SCORERS: For the sixth-straight game, one of the Raiders recorded a multi-goal game when Noah Gregor had a pair of markers. It was the 35th time this season the Raiders had at least one multi-goal scorer in a game.

NEXT UP: The Raiders close out the weekend on Saturday when Brandon Wheat Kings (28-22-3-4) visit the Art Hauser Centre on Saturday. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at raiderhockey.com and the Raider Office.
