Celebrity News: Dax Shepard Originally Turned Down ‘Parenthood’ for Kristen Bell By Megan McIntosh One of Dax Shepard’s most well-known roles may be that of his role on Parenthood, but according to UsMagazine.com, he almost gave up that opportunity for Kristen Bell. The celebrity couple would have needed to be in a long-distance relationship, but luckily the show was moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. Still, Shepard had been willing to make that sacrifice for their relationship and insists that it’s “not easy to work around another human being,” but that it’s worth it. In celebrity news, Dax Shepard almost made a huge sacrifice to be with wife Kristen Bell. What are some sacrifices you should make in the name of love? Cupid’s Advice: It’s not always easy knowing when you should give something up or compromise to make a relationship work. But there are some things that you should be willing to do for your relationship to work and to make a stronger commitment: 1. Time: It may seem like a simple thing but not everyone is willing to give up their time in a relationship. You have to make time for your partner and not let life’s little messes get in the way. It’s important that you there is always time for you and your partner to spend time together. But also be willing to give your partner some alone time as well. • Zathura: a Space Adventure
An intergalactic world of wonder is waiting just outside your front door in Columbia Pictures' heart-racing sci-fi family film Zathura: A Space Adventure. Zathura: A Space Adventure is the story of two squabbling brothers who are propelled into deepest, darkest space while playing a mysterious game they discovered in the basement of their old house. Now, they must overcome their differences and work together to complete the game or they will be trapped in outer space forever. SYNOPSIS After their father ( Tim Robbins ) leaves for work, leaving them in the care of their older sister ( Kristen Stewart ), six year-old Danny ( Jonah Bobo ) and ten-year old Walter ( Josh Hutcherson ) either get on each other‘s nerves or are totally bored. When their bickering escalates and Walter starts chasing him, Danny hides in a dumbwaiter. But Walter surprises him, and in retaliation, lowers Danny into their dark, scary basement, where he discovers an old tattered metal board game, —Zathura.“ After trying unsuccessfully to get his brother to play the game with him, Danny starts to play on his own. From his first move, Danny realizes this is no ordinary board game. His spaceship marker moves by itself and when it lands on a space, a card is ejected, which reads: —Meteor shower, take evasive action.“ The house is immediately pummeled from above by hot, molten meteors. When Danny and Walter look up through the gaping hole in their roof, they discover, to their horror, that they have been propelled into deepest, darkest outer space. And they are not alone.

  • Public Overwhelmingly Supports Planned Parenthood
Public Overwhelmingly Supports Planned Parenthood In the months since the latest attacks on Planned Parenthood launched, national polls have found broad deep support for the organization and its ability to provide health care services to millions of people – and the public has mobilized on behalf of Planned Parenthood. The public is largely aware of accusations about Planned Parenthood – and is not persuaded by them. Thirteen separate nationwide polls show strong favorability for Planned Parenthood and strong opposition to efforts in Congress to defund the organization, which would prevent low-income women from receiving health care at Planned Parenthood. These polls stem from the deep and longstanding relationship that many Americans have with Planned Parenthood, which is the nation’s leading provider of reproductive health care and sex education. For 99 years, women, men, and young people have relied on Planned Parenthood for birth control, lifesaving cancer screenings, safe abortion, and other high-quality health care. One in five women American women reports having been to Planned Parenthood for care in her lifetime. All thirteen national polls conducted in the wake of these attacks show strong support for Planned Parenthood and extraordinarily strong opposition to shutting down the government over Planned Parenthood federal funding. • A new poll from Associated Press-GfK found that 69% of those surveyed do not support forcing a government shutdown to block Planned Parenthood’s funding, and less than half of Republicans would entertain this idea. • A New York Times/CBS News Poll taken in the middle of the 2015 defund fight found that most Americans think Planned Parenthood should continue to receive government funding.
