Guest of Honor Eric Flint’s writing career began with the science fiction novel Mother of Demons. With David Drake, he has collaborated on the six-volume Belisarius series, as well as a novel entitled The Tyrant. His novel Eric Flint 1632 was published in 2000, and has led to a long-running series with many novels and anthologies in print.

Since graduating summa cum laude in painting from Syracuse Artist Guest of Honor University, Donato's paintings have graced the covers of over 300 novels and landed numerous peer honors including three Hugo Awards, Donato Giancola three Gold and six Silver Medals from Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, the prestigious Hamilton King Award from the Society of Illustrators, and 21 from the ASFA. Photo by Greg Preston. Filk Guest of Honor Amy McNally comes to us from Wisconsin, that magic land of beer and cheese, with a violin, a fast bow, and an evil grin. An accomplished folk Amy McNally and Celtic fiddler, she took the filk community by storm a little over a decade Tanuki Photography. Tanuki ago with a quick wit, fantastic blue hair, and a talent for playing well with Photo by Ryan Nutick, others. In addition to any number of fabulous solo concerts, she performs with Celtic band The Tooles and the GAFilk house band Play it with Moxie, and has played and recorded with Wild Mercy, Seanan McGuire, and many others.

Minneapolis fans and music parties brought Geri Sullivan into fandom in the early 1980s. Zinewiki terms her a zinester. She Fan Guest of Honor published many one-shots as well as 11 issues of Idea, which was first published in 1988 and won FAAn Awards in 1998 and 2001. She co-edited Geri Sullivan four issues of the Science-Fiction Five-Yearly, the last of which won the 2007 for Best Fanzine. She spearheaded the MidAmericon II Video Archeology Project to restore film of 1970s conventions, and Beneviste. by Mike Photo Hat by Bonnie Somdahl. will screen and discuss some digital footage for us at Balticon 51.

The 1632 Minicon celebrates Eric's 1632 series, about the town of Grantville, West Fran Wilde Virginia, transported from the year 2000 to Thuringia, Germany of 1631—that's right, while 2016 the Thirty Years War is raging. The Minicon provides a venue for the many collaborators and Compton fans of the 1632 universe to get together. Editors Walt Boyes and Bjorn Hasseler will talk Crook about how to write for the online magazine Grantville Gazette, a SFWA pro venue set in and Award relating to the 1632 universe.
