Never was there a more apt group for the Henniker Summer Concert Series than Tribute Band – - than this time, right now. On Tuesday, August 17, 6:30 PM “Come Together” with us at Henniker’s Community Park as we continue our 2021 season of Tuesday night concerts at the Angela Robinson Bandstand.

Beatles For Sale is an award-winning, New England-based Beatles tribute band committed to recreating the sounds of the Beatles live in concert. Formed in 2007, this band of talented musicians was drawn together by their love of Beatles music and the desire to keep the music alive, bringing it to a whole new generation of Beatles fans. The Beatles music became the and the backdrop for a generation. From bursting onto the scene on the Ed Sullivan show, to their individual and collective development as introspective songwriters, to the psychedelia of the Sgt. Pepper and to their final rooftop jam and stellar production of .

Beatles For Sale's performances are realistic, performed by this multi-instrumental, multi-vocal group with over 120 combined years of experience. In a typical performance, the audience will hear a repertoire that consists of 26 "number one", iconic studio masterpieces, and not often- heard "B-Sides" including the three-part harmony of Nowhere Man, solo in , strings of , horns of Got To Get You Into My Life, chaos of , psychedelia of , guitar solo in While My Guitar Gently Weeps, slinky bass of Come Together, drum solo of the Abbey Road Medley and much, much more, all of it completely live. You will see four guys recreating this music without tricks or backstage help.

Each performance is different, as the group constantly revises their setlist so audiences hear the hits and as well as some lost treasures. With Beatles for Sale, it's all about the music. While they dress period-accurate to create a vibe, they recognize that audiences respond most to the music and that’s what they look forward to as they step out on stage.

The Henniker Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the town of Henniker. All concerts are free (although donations are graciously accepted), begin at 6:30 PM and take place at the Angela Robinson Bandstand on the grounds of the Community Center on Main Street.

We continue to follow current best practices from the CDC as we plan for an exciting and safe summer series. As we see increases in vaccination rates and a decrease in infection rates (Henniker has had zero new instances of COVID in at least two weeks) and, as the State of New Hampshire continues to allow more activities, especially outdoors where the CDC indicates the risk of COVID infection is minimal, the Henniker Board of Selectmen approved removing the fencing around Community Park and the need to mark out squares for the Summer Concert Series. We ask you to use your own judgment in deciding whether or not to wear masks and/or to socially distance.

There is no provision for moving indoors this summer, so if there is inclement weather the concert will be cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday. Bring a chair, spread a blanket, visit a local restaurant or have a picnic supper on the lawn and join your neighbors and friends in this community-building event at our bandstand. The complete summer schedule is available on the Town of Henniker website: www.henniker.org. as is more information on changes in place for this summer’s series.
