St James’ Church Dé hAoine/Friday, 8pm Collapsing Horse €15 Science Fiction Radio Hour Two short plays commissioned by Collapsing Horse & Féile na Bealtaine The season premiere of the (soon-to-be) legendary radio series - the Collapsing Horse Science Fiction Radio Hour - is coming to Féile na Bealtaine. The series features fresh, original writing from some of Ireland's finest writing talent: all of whom have taken on the same challenge: create a world at a remove from our own, with its own logic, magic, physics, insight, humour or horror, in a single half hour of radio. This season premiere, a commission by Collapsing Horse and Féile, of two new short plays for the radio will be recorded live in St. James' Church with actors, musicians, and Foley sound artists, all working furiously to create a rich world of storytelling before your very ears. An unmissable event, you'll say "I was there when..." "One of the finest groups of artists to emerge in recent years" - The Irish Times "Their clear love for their craft is a thrill to watch" - The Stage

'Wonderful... Impressive... an intriguing Have A Heart work.... a comic dramatisation of organ Written & Performed by Seamus memory with a distinct thriller vibe...' Moran / Directed by Liam Halligan Seamus Moran's dynamic and visually arresting one-man play will keep you guessing and fully engaged throughout. A man who's recently had a heart transplant thinks his new heart is talking to him. Is he insane? Suffering side-effects from the medication? Or is it possible? Could this really be happening? When his new heart persuades him to embark on a major quest, his life is turned inside out; his world turned upside down. His beliefs, assumptions and view of himself are questioned, tested and challenged.
