Il lago di Como, di manzoniana memoria, colpisce per la singolarità delle rive, “a fiordo”, e per il graduale incunearsi del bacino lacustre in zona montana, accompagnato nel suo percorso dalla “Regina”, l’antica strada che ne delinea la sponda occidentale. Il lago di Garda è adagiato in una conca attorniata da colline ricche di uliveti e limoneti che prosperano grazie alla mitezza del microclima gardesano contribuendo a fare del lago un polo di significativo interesse turistico. Il lago Maggiore conserva un’elegante atmosfera “fin de siècle”, enfatizzata dall’eleganza delle ville rivierasche e dalla particolare bellezza delle Isole Borromee. La forte urbanizzazione sviluppatasi nelle aree dei laghi ha originato un esponenziale aumento della domanda di servizi come quello, prioritario, del trasporto pubblico locale a seguito della congestione del traffico nelle arterie stradali limitrofe ai bacini lacustri. Da qui l’importanza, sempre più crescente, di trasporto alternativo come quello offerto dalla Navigazione Laghi, presente da più di un secolo come realtà aziendale prima privata e poi pubblica, i cui battelli collegano proficuamente le sponde dei nostri laghi. A seguito dello sviluppo registrato nel contesto socio-produttivo delle nostre zone, la Navigazione Laghi ha ritenuto utile la realizzazione di queste nuove guide che si propongono come ausilio per i residenti e i visitatori delle nostre belle regioni augurandosi che possano fornire un valido servizio per l’utenza.

    Como, 25 febbraio 2019 All’attenzione delle amministrazioni comunali della provincia di Como OGGETTO: BANDI YOUTHBANK La Fondazione Comasca in collaborazione con quattro non profit della provincia mette a disposizione 150.000 € per progetti realizzati da ragazzi under 25 nel territorio della provincia di Como. I giovani interessati a ricevere un contributo per idee volte a migliorare la comunità in cui vivono devono presentare il proprio progetto alla Fondazione Comasca, sul bando YouthBank del territorio nel quale l’iniziativa si concretizza, tramite organizzazioni non profit operanti nella provincia di Como entro il 2 maggio 2019.     MJB – Manzoni Junior Band – Lecco As early as the 1970s, the Manzoni presidency had become aware of the fact that only by cultivating new talents, the future of the band could be ensured. Over time, musical teaching was initially entrusted to the most expert musicians and to the section heads who, under the supervision of the Maestro, instructed the young students; later real and proper classes of strumento were structured and entrusted to graduated professors. In the 1980s, Manzoni made an agreement with the “Zelioli” Civic School of Music in Lecco for the training of clarinetists, flutists and saxophonists, but this experience did not have the desired results. Likewise, in the early 1990s, Manzoni supported the establishment of the small band at the “Tommaso Grossi” middle School in via Ghislanzoni, with the loan of some musical instruments. After the first dazzling results, the strip broke up also following an overall reorganization of the didactic and musical paths among the schools of the city. On the other hand, the subsequent experience with the “Stoppani” Middle School was positive: the marked musical sensitivity of the headmaster Eugenio Ripamonti, combined with the tenacity of professor Annita Viganò (literature teacher at Stoppani and secretary of Manzoni for many years), allowed the startup of an experimental afternoon course for clarinets. In addition to the positive conduct of the lessons, the three- year period, covered by the agreement, allowed to establish excellent bonds with the valuable music teachers of that school, thanks to which interesting collaborations are still possible today for the brass, flute and percussion sections.

In the second half of the century Princess Marianne of Nassau bought the villa and gave it as a present to her daughter Carlotta in occasion of her wedding.     TREKKING PROVINCIA DI COMO Settore Turismo In futuro, il turismo attivo sarà la formula vincente per lo sviluppo turistico di qualsiasi territorio; il Lago di Como, da sempre meta di un turismo legato al lago e alla sua rilassante bellezza, intende rafforzare e ampliare la propria offerta, già interessante, in questo segmento di mercato ormai strategico. Oggigiorno numerose sono le attività sportive praticabili sul nostro territorio, dai più classici sport nautici: vela, surf, canotaggio e kitesurf, al ciclismo e al più sofisticato golf, per non parlare delle passeggiate a cavallo, ma è il Trekking che da sempre ha esercitato un particolare fascino, permettendo di scoprire antichi sentieri, vecchi cam - minamenti e, nel contempo, di ammirare paesaggi unici per bellezza del nostro territorio. Con questo intento si è realizzata la nuova edizione della guida Lago di Como - Trekking , proponendo una ver - sione aggiornata dei testi e dei punti di appoggio dei tre più collaudati itinerari a piedi della nostra zona. La Via dei Monti Lariani , che rimane lo storico percorso di trekking, di 125 km, e si snoda lungo i “monti” della sponda occidentale del Lago e da dove si godono panorami mozzafiato. La Dorsale Como Bellagio , un bellissimo percorso di 2 giorni che attraversa in verticale il “Triangolo Lariano”, cioè quel territorio compreso tra i due rami del Lago di Como. Il Sentiero delle 4 Valli , forse il meno noto dei tre ma altrettanto affascinante, soprattutto per i luoghi sorpren - dentemente incontaminati che ci propongono queste bellissime vallate. La pubblicazione della guida dei Trekking del Lago di Como ha l’intento di offrire al turista uno strumento utile per la scoperta di angoli paesaggistici della nostra zona altrimenti poco noti e una motivazione forte per prolun - garne il soggiorno in questo angolo di paradiso che è il lago di Como.
