The owner Ioanna, has assembled an incredible selection of Japanese whiskies. The bar also makes terrific cocktails. It is always buzzing and the only thing I can be critical of is that everyone wishes it were open later than midnight. 5 BLO*BLO This is tiny little bar in Upper Hirafu that I particularly like because it feels like you are walking into a genie bottle. It is small, intimate and cozy. A great place to chill with a few friends in a very unique atmosphere that isn’t over-run with drunken youngsters.

No matter what skill level, a powder guide can help one experience the best powder that Niseko can offer for one’s skill level. I’ve gone to places with a powder guide that I would never have found. Many of these places gave exhilarating thrills and access to deep, deep powder. For a luxury winter experience, getting a powder guide is an absolute must.
