Eric Aguilar - Certified Flight Instructor Eric Aguilar joins the Flight department as a Certified Flight Instructor. As an alumni, Eric received his Bachelor in Science in Aviation Flight Management and Aviation Administration and is currently pursuing his Masters in Science in Aviation and Transportation. Eric served as a tem- porary CFI prior to starting in his current position. Adrian Almeida - Campus Safety Officer Adrian Almeida is a Campus Safety Officer in the Lewis University Police Department. He was previously a Campus Safety Officer at Joliet Junior College. Adrian strives to give back to the community in any way he can. He hopes to accomplish this by serving our community and pursuing a career in Criminal Justice. Robert Bryan - Certified Flight Instructor Robert Bryan is a Certified Flight Instructor. As a former Lewis student, Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Flight Management and a minor in Aircraft Dispatch and Business Administration. Robert was a member of Lewis R/C Flyers, where he taught team members how to fly and repair remote control aircraft. Take a moment to learn about your new colleagues. Welcome them and say "Hello!" when you see them around campus! Carole A Cahill - Executive Assistant Carole Cahill is the Senior Executive Assistant in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. She brings over 15 years of Higher Ed experience to Lewis, most recently with Columbia College and previously with Saint Xavier University. Carole enjoys traveling the 50 states and has a peren- nial butterfly garden. Dana Gambla - Campus Safety Officer Dana Gambla joins the University Police department as a Campus Safety Officer. She graduated from Lewis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Criminal Investigation. While at Lewis, Dana participated in the Study Abroad Pro- gram to the Forensic Anthropology Center at University of Ten- nessee in Knoxville. Linda Gibbons - Associate Professor Linda Gibbons is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Linda holds a MSN and BSN from University of Illinois. Linda brings over 30 years of School Nursing, Consulting, and Higher Edu- cation Program Coordinating experience. She has served as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions since 2014. Take a moment to learn about your new colleagues. Anthony Gliffe - Student Success Coordinator, Athletic Specialist Anthony Gliffe is the Student Success Coordinator specialized in Athlet- ics. He joins the Academic Services Department. Anthony has a MA in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and a BA in Special Education from Aurora University. Previously, Anthony was an Athletic Academic Advisor at University of Illinois-Chicago. He brings his academic, professional and personal experience as a former GLVC stu- dent athlete to Lewis. Scott Inskeep - Assistant Director of Veterans Affairs & Recruit- ment Scott Inskeep is the Assistant Director of Veterans Affairs & Recruit- ment. He has a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with an empha- sis in Outdoor Recreation and Psychology from Southern Utah Universi- ty and is currently working toward his Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentration in Public and Business Administration. Scott served in the United States Navy from 2010 to 2013. Andrew Jones - Certified Flight Instructor Andrew Jones joins the Flight department as a Certified Flight Instructor. As an alumni, Andrew graduated from Lewis University with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Flight Management with a minor in Airport Man- agement and Dispatch. Helen Teresa Krejci - Associate Vice President for Finance Teresa Krejci is the Associate Vice President for Finance. She brings over 30 years of executive level financial leadership experience and a passion for higher education. Teresa served as Chief Financial Officer at Drake University before coming Lewis. She provided strategic fiscal leadership to the administration and its board, as well as being hands-on with the day-to-day activities that drove business process and ensured an outstanding student experience. We’re excited to welcome Teresa to Illinois and to Lewis! Charles Melvin - A&P Technician Charles Melvin joins the Aviation Services team as the A&P Technician Assistant. Charles is currently in the process of receiving his Associates of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Automated Systems at Joliet Junior College, but plans to finish his degree at Lewis. Kimberly A Mulcahy - Clinical and Field Placement Coordinator Kimberly A Mulcahy is the Clinical and Field Placement Coordinator in the College of Education. She has her MA in Special Education from Lewis University and BA in Education/Home Economics (FACS) – Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University. Kimberly was the in- terim Clinical Coordinator and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Education since 2017. Take a moment to learn about your new colleagues. Welcome them and say "Hello!" when you see them around campus! Iyad Rock - Instructor Iyad Rock is an Instructor in Finance in the College of Business. Iyad holds a BBA (Accounting) from Bethlehem University in Palestine and an MBA (Finance) from Lewis University. He started at Lewis as a Graduate Assistant in College of Business before taking an Instructor position in Bethlehem University. Welcome back Iyad! Kimberly Scheffel - Assistant Professor Dr. Kimberly Scheffel is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She is a Lewis alum having received her DNP, MSN, and BSN at Lewis. Dr. Scheffel has served as Adjunct Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions since 2013. Dr. Scheffel brings over 25 years of nursing experience in clinical, adminis- trative, and educational setting. .
