Project Sponsor’s California Department of Water Resources Name The project area includes Fremont Weir, a portion of the Fremont Weir Wildlife Area, two downstream agricultural road crossings in the Tule Canal, and an area within the northern Elkhorn Basin. Fremont Weir is located adjacent to the Sacramento River, between River Mile (RM) 82 and RM 84, along the northern boundary of the Yolo Bypass. The Yolo 5.
