Fr. Micheas professed his monastic vows on August 15, 1959, and was ordained to the priesthood on September 5, 1965. He is a native of Paducah, KY.

Online courses in the Graduate Theology Program also began September 3, with the first weekend of courses taking place at Saint Meinrad on September 14. This fall, 69 students are enrolled, compared to 57 students last fall. Of the 69 students, 11 are new to the program. There are four full-time students, 52 part-time, nine non- degree and four students who are auditing courses.

The Permanent Formation Program continues to see growth, with 168 deacon candidates enrolled in the program. The men are in 12 cohorts, representing 11 .

Last fall, 144 deacon candidates were enrolled. Saint Meinrad also is providing ongoing permanent deacon formation to one other diocese. Two dioceses will have R Fr.
