After passing through Dumbarton and continuing on the A82, travel up the western shore of Loch Lomond, as far as Tarbet. On entering Tarbet, keep left and continue onto the A83 heading towards Arrochar. On entering Arrochar continue along the A83 which takes you round the northern part of Loch Long and as you reach the Rest and Be Thankful, follow the signs to Lochgoilhead turning left onto the B828. Continue along this road which then becomes the B839 heading for Lochgoilhead and before entering the village of Lochgoilhead turn right signposted Carrick Castle. Pass the Drimsynie holiday complex and continue for approximately four to five miles. Just before the sign for Carrick Castle turn right onto a private road. Continue up this road and the property is on the left hand side.
