    Impianti sportivi, eventi sportivi e promozione dello sport 22 settembre 2021 Tra i più recenti interventi per il mondo dello sport vi sono quelli adottati per fronteggiare le conseguenze dell'emergenza sanitaria da COVID-19. Si veda anche l'apposito tema. I principali interventi della legislatura in materia di impianti sportivi hanno riguardato l'incremento delle risorse del Fondo sport e periferie e la modifica della loro gestione, nonché la revisione delle procedure per la realizzazione degli impianti. Vari interventi hanno riguardato gli eventi sportivi, sia nazionali che internazionali. In particolare, sono intervenute disposizioni organizzative e autorizzazioni di spesa per i campionati mondiali di sci alpino Cortina 2021, le Finali di Tennis Torino 2021-2025, la Ryder Cup Roma 2022, le Olimpiadi e le Paralimpiadi invernali Milano-Cortina 2026, i XX Giochi del Mediterraneo Taranto 2026. Ulteriori interventi hanno riguardato l'istituzione di vari nuovi Fondi, tra i quali, in particolare, il Fondo unico a sostegno del potenziamento del movimento sportivo italiano, il Fondo per il professionismo negli sport femminili, il Fondo per potenziare l'attività sportiva di base. Altresì, è stato stabilizzato il contributo a favore delle attività del Progetto Filippide per l'integrazione dei disabili attraverso lo sport e sono state destinate risorse al programma internazionale "Special Olympics Italia", indirizzato a soggetti con disabilità intellettiva.
