PEARSON - THE BRITISH COMPANY THAT CONTROLS OUR AMERICAN EDUCATION SYSTEM

There is a growing cancer in this country. It is not fostered neither by China, Russia or Iran, nor by the Latin American countries exporting thousands of their people to our borders. The culprit is a global British corporation, namely, .

A year ago this British corporation published a textbook entitle, “By the People: A History of the ,” for Advanced Placement students. Although this book is nothing beyond pure revisionist history, global British corporation, Pearson Education, markets its revisionist view of our history as an accurate and truthful balanced presentation of United States’ history. In other words, Pearson Education is telling students that what they have presented in their book as our history actually happened. Keep this issue in mind while you read the following excerpt from Pearson’s American “history” book:

“Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history,” the textbook reads. “They also worried about the mental stability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”

Two major glaring points come across in this one textbook snippet. First, this book was developed for only Advanced Placement students, and therefore is geared toward those students presumably being groomed for the “better” colleges and universities – the so-called elite. So what this book does is take the still yet very impressionable best and brightest in our high schools and condition them to have a negative view of a Republican president and his conservative followers, a conditioned view that is then further ingrained in our colleges and universities.

As for the second point - where is the balance? This revisionist account of history depicts President Trump as mentally ill and his supporters as racists. By the same token, the book follows suit with our liberal mainstream media and totally ignores the whopping collection of issues ranging from incompetency, to racketeering, to treasonous behavior that surrounded Hillary Clinton during her candidacy. Issues such as: Benghazi, her email scandal, Uranium One, her Clinton Foundation pay-for- play scheme, etc. Pearson’s book also neatly ignored the fact that President Obama had saddled the country with high taxes and regulations, causing an eight year sadly anemic economy, along with a destabilization of the middle class. The country was desperate for a change that promised a return to American economic growth as well as a stable, growing and prosperous middle class. Trump campaign platform promised this kind of change. He wanted to “Make America Great Again.” He subsequently delivered on his campaign promises. In contrast to Obama, Trump's cutting the high taxes and choke hold business restrictions of the Obama years has allowed the country to enjoy the most robust economy in our nation's history. Still the authors of our new history want gifted students to believe that the current president is borderline mentally insane and his supporters are “irredeemable deplorables.”

As I will show, Pearson, a global British corporation, is the cornerstone of our education system, or, as it has evolved with the help of Pearson, our indoctrination system. Supported in full by school boards, teacher unions and even teachers themselves, Pearson strives to inculcate our impressionable youth with a one-sided globalist narrative of how the world should be. Their goal: ensure that all students graduating from college venture out into the world thoroughly indoctrinated against the unique greatness of their own country and its capitalist system.

What is Pearson Education?

Pearson Education is a British-owned education publishing and assessment service. It services schools and corporations around the world. Over the past 25 years Pearson has managed to gobble up both American and global textbook and educational units. Companies devoured by Pearson include: Addison Wesley, , Prentiss Hall, eCollege, , Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins, Harcourt Assessment and International Education, among others.

Using these acquisitions as a base, Pearson then formed Pearson International and Pearson North America and put them under one company, Pearson.. This company concentrates on all levels of education, including professional. Pearson operates in 70 countries but Ssxty percent of Pearson’s sales come from North America. Pearson North America is headquartered in New York City.

Pearson's school brands include: BTEC, Bug Club, Edexcel, Fronter, GradPoint, Schoolnet, and SuccessNet. Pearson's higher education brands include eCollege, Mastering/MyLabs, Revel, and online tutoring (Smarthinking). As previously mentioned, Pearson’s goal is to inculcate the world public with a progressive narrative, starting at the youngest possible level.

In June 2010, Pearson plc received notification that the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), founded by Muammar Gaddafi's son, held over 24 million shares of the company making them the largest investor. Upon their discovering this fact, the company feigned outrage. It also raised its dividend that year by nine percent, the largest increase in the past decade, providing a windfall profit to the LIA. The Council on Islamic Relations (CAIR) designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the Muslim Brotherhood all have invested in Pearson Education through the LIA.

Two years prior to the Obama administration’s Race to the Top initiative in 2007, the FBI uncovered documents revealing the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood, including its subsidiary organizations like CAIR. That group planned to indoctrinate American K-12 students by teaching Islam and denigrating America. The seized documents were part of the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terror- funding trial in U.S. history.

Why the Change in Focus?

With the United Nations push for global education, Pearson wanted to corner the market on educational materials and assessment techniques. Supported by the United Nations, they saw themselves as controlling scientific social engineering. Pearson would become the ultimate purveyor of indoctrination, the very shaper of humanity.

They received a big boost from President Obama, who let them in the door when he redid Common Core. Obama already had applied social engineering at the lowest level. He poured funds into the Center for American Progress (CAP) so three and four-year old kiddies could attend a full-day public preschool program. His secretary of education at the time, Arne Duncan, bragged that “parents will have to be working two to three jobs in the future to support their families.” Thus public schools would become the hub of every community open 24/7, providing meals and health care, and managed by a non-government organization. The then President Obama next took over Common Core with $4.35 billion of “stimulus” funds. To get a chunk of the federal money, states had to: a) follow Common Core; b) evaluate teachers; c) use college-career ready standards; d) collect personal info on pupils for a national database; and e) turn around or close failing schools. Even kindergarten pupils were put on track for college or the workforce. The program, which was falsely labeled a voluntary state initiative, was anything but. The substantial amount of federal funds was simply too great to reject. It literally forced states to conform.

Spawned by Connect All Schools, the new Common Core was part of One World Education developed and sponsored by the Qatar Foundation with a heavy anti-Christian, pro Islam focus. Obama turned over the development of the curriculum to Qatar Foundation International (QFI), the Washington-based branch of the parent foundation. QFI was funded by the nations of Qatar, Libya and Saudi Arabia, all of which had financial interests in Pearson Education.

Not surprisingly, QFI contracted with Pearson to develop materials and implement the new education initiative. The LIA helped fund Pearson's effort, along with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood, including CAIR. Now a huge global corporation, Pearson not only wrote new Common Core curricula and training materials, but also evaluated teachers in certain states. It trained K-12 teachers to develop lesson plans and had university professors conduct anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian seminars.

A study by the Citizens for National Security (CFNS) showed that a) Pearson K – 12 textbooks had positive misinformation about Islam and negative material about Christianity; and b) CAIR had been targeting American public schools for Islamic indoctrination. About the same time, Project Veritas caught on camera a former Pearson marketing executive textbook publishing admitting to the anti- Christian, pro-Islamic agenda of Common Core.

Pearson Education now solely administers the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA). Additionally, no state or federal oversight exists for university programs (under Title VI of the Higher Education Act) that train K-12 teachers to develop lesson plans and seminars on “Middle East Studies.” Pearson developed these programs and teacher training materials which were largely funded by Saudi Arabia.

Pearson Indoctrination Let's revisit the Pearson textbook, “By the People: A History of the United States.” A company spokesperson defended the textbook pointing out the book underwent “rigorous peer review to ensure academic integrity.”

Who did this rigorous review and who were the peers? The answer must be the educational boards, unions and teachers, all of whom clearly demonstrate a liberal bias.

Their spokesman went on to say, “This work is designed to convey college-level information to high school students and meet specific Advanced Placement standards. It aims to promote debate and critical thinking by presenting multiple sides of historical issues.”

No, reading the textbook shows a one-sided presentation and thus an inaccurate view of our history. Moreover, it brings into question the validity of Advanced Placement standards and the overwhelming need to reevaluate them. But who is to do that? Obviously not the current leaders of our education system. The situation has become so bad at the collegiate level that the president has had to issue an order to allow freedom of speech (or the allowance of conservative speech) in their schools. The order actually should have been directed to all levels of education.

So how then do we balance these boards and unions? RAISE CAIN (Complain About It Now).

Start by asking why a British company is dictating our American education system, a takeover former Department of Education official Diane Ravitch describes as, “the Pearsonizing of the American mind.” https://fortune.com/2015/01/21/everybody-hates-pearson/ Be forewarned: if we don't start somewhere, this progressive bias only will ratchet up and Pearson Education will continue to profit and inculcate not only our nation, but also inculcate a sizable chunk of the world..
