The star of our June calendar was the 9th Bronze Tee Celebration which featured Sean giving a detailed explanation of how the tee was constructed, the cutting of ribbons, the effortless and perfect tee shot by Captain Ellie and the toasting of the opening of the tee with mimosas and cookies and coffee cake. Kudos go to Sean and his crew for doing such a magnificent job of constructing the tee and to Judy Wood for proposing that we hold this celebration. nd June 2 Captain’s Trophjy 2nd Flight Captain’s Trophy Winner Robin Van Metre 1st Jan Core 1st Flight 2nd Phyllis Smith Low Gross Robin Van Metre 3RD Linda Ulery Low Net Maxine Cozby 4th Edda Howe nd 2 Place Elaine Martin Closest to the Pin: 2nd Flight Linda Kennedy 6’ 11 ½” Low Net Wendy Weiss June 16th Mixed Handicap from Bronze Tee 2nd Low Net Phyllis Smith 1st Flight 2nd Betty Koski 1st Diane Timko rd 3 Linda Kennedy 2nd Doreen Lewallen Closest to the Pin: 3rd Ruth Squibb Doreen Lewallen 13’ 10” 2nd Flight June 9th ONE Tourney 1st Margie Wagner 1st Flight 2nd Elaine Martin st 1 Doreen Lewallen 3rd Phyllis Smith 2nd Diane Timko Closest to the Pin: 3rd Robin Van Metre Doreen Lewallen 11’ 3” It is my distinct pleasure to welcome Carlene Ott and Cinnamon Danielson as new members to our group.
