My 35-plus years experience as an educator in schools and university has taught me the importance of personalizing student programming to meet the individual needs of each learner. At Hudson College we promise a total personal support system that looks to the needs of each student, and satisfies them, one student at a time. In academic terms, our Smart Skills Program will ensure that every student experiences an integrated program that will develop in her/him key abilities to move them to the next step of education and life. In personal terms our caring, supportive staff - at all levels - will see that each student is provided with a safe, nurturing, challenging and rewarding learning experience. Dedicated to developing the whole child, our highly qualified teachers are committed to working closely with their students. Starting from our kindergarten program through to university entrance, our enriched and well rounded program supports each individual’s chance to successfully attain both future personal and academic success for the betterment of themselves and the wider community. Our multicultural school population provides the same stimulating environment our students will experience later on in university and business life. We value diversity and find our students are enriched by meeting and learning with other young people from different cultural backgrounds. If you are seeking a school where the focus is on individualized learning, in small class settings, provided by knowledgeable, supportive teachers, in a safe and secure environment, then you will want to choose Hudson College. Some say it’s about what students learn. I say “first” it’s all about how students are treated and nurtured in that learning environment. It’s only then that successful learning will follow. I know choosing the right school is important. I also know that if you select Hudson, you’ll have made an excellent choice. A Message from the Principal Yours truly, Jack Bavington Principal, M.Ed. 21 Ascot Avenue, Toronto, ON M6E 1E6 T 416.631.0082 F 416.631.0083 hudsoncollege.ca 3 Testimonials Hudson College offers a balanced curriculum - they provide a very well-rounded approach to education, and to other aspects of a student's development. Hudson provides a very individualized approach to education - they identify the potential in every student, and work hard to help students reach that potential. Because of the small class sizes, the teachers are able to provide a great deal of support to the students. The teachers are dedicated and passionate about education. The school is very inclusive, and offers some great extra-curricular activities - the teachers are a huge part of that aspect of the school. The faculty is extremely communicative with the parents, and because of that, we feel that we're partners in our child's education. Hudson College has exceeded our expectations. Christine Liber The small class sizes and the intuitiveness of the teachers has helped our son reach his full potential - both academically and personally. Hudson teachers have a knack of knowing what each child needs. Children are encouraged to set goals to help them grow and any individual issues are dealt with in a plan set for that child. Our son is focused, well-adjusted and has many friends. He plays on every sports team Hudson has to offer. Each year, he enjoys taking part in the school play and he also plays an instrument in the Hudson Elementary band. Marion and Daciano da Ponte My daughter just finished her 9th year at Hudson and my son has completed his 7th. We love the school! Testimonials Both of my children have thrived academically due to the small class sizes and the dedication of the staff. My kids have taken part in many extra-curricular activities, clubs and sports teams, as well as yearly musical productions. I love that they start learning band instruments in grade 5 and other instruments such as the Ukulele even earlier. Great school! Jennifer Petrilli An incredible education opportunity for our daughter and son. Dedicated, passionate, and responsive teaching staff and a thoughtful support team make Hudson a very smart choice. The small class sizes, strong/diverse co-curricular activities and learning that extends beyond the class room will give the students a great foundation for life.
