If I could go back in time I'd tell myself not to buy this bookBy Mark TreitelMany of the reviews were here were spot on in the same range of 2 and 3 stars. I'm lowering from 3 starts to 2 stars because the quality of writers involved, Jason Aaron, Brian Bendis created more of a fail than they should have allowed.Let me preface by stating that I really, really like Bendis' prior to 2 X-Men books, All New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men and Aaron's Wolverine and the X-Men. As someone that has read X-Men books back to the original Days of Future Past (early 1980s), it was Aaron's Schism that brought me back into the fold after a long time of being confused by characters I didn't care about. The story is set up well and I enjoyed the first 2 or 3 chapters of this hard cover, however, when the plot is revealed, it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
