That Trip Here a Few Pieces of Information We Need to Share with You

Dear Parents / Guardians, Team 4 Teachers are getting ready for the upcoming field trip the Toronto Science Center in June. In preparation for that trip here a few pieces of information we need to share with you.

Trip Schedule- Friday, June 7, 2013: 6:30 am- buses will arrive at school for loading 7:00 am- buses will depart HMS for Toronto (please make sure students are on time) 10:00 am- Arrival at the Ontario Science Centre- self guided tour of the Exhibits 12:00 pm- box lunch provided at Science Centre (choices attached) 1:00 pm- IMAX show- to be announced 2:00 pm- time to visit gift shop/exhibits 4:00 pm- load busses and depart for school 6:45 pm- estimated arrival back at school (pending traffic delays) Please pick up your child promptly. They are not allowed to walk home

Since we are traveling into Canada for our trip, all students must bring in a copy of their birth certificate for identification at the border crossing. Send in a copy with emergency contact form below to prevent any delays or problems at the border. Please send this documentation in to Mrs. Hayes (Encore in rm. 212) or Mrs. Wolf no later than May 17 th. In addition, students may bring iPods, cell phones and electronic items, but these will be the responsibility of the student. If a student brings a cell phone they will be reminded to turn it off, place it in airplane mode or turn data off at the border so that roaming charges are not incurred. Students may also bring snacks as the bus trip to and from Toronto is quite long.

A box lunch will be provided for students at the Science Centre. Each box will consist of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cookie, a bag of chips, a bottle of water, condiments and a napkin. Choices for the sandwich are below. Please fill out the form below and return to Mrs. Hayes or Mrs. Wolf no later than May 1 st.
