Job Description: Membership & Administration Officer
Responsible To: Executive Director (Executive Assistant / Operations Manager) Staff Responsibilities: None Status: Permanent
Role summary
You will take responsibility for the fulfilment and improvement of services to ISUOG’s members and will support the effective day to day administration of the Society’s office and suppliers. There are currently 4,000 ISUOG members based in 100 different countries around the World and services include a monthly peer reviewed Journal, ISUOG’s online Web Portal, the annual World Congress and educational courses. You will also have the opportunity to support our annual events program.
Responsible To: Operations Manager Other staff relationships: Executive Assistant, Event manager Staff Responsibilities: None Status: Permanent
Purpose of the role:
1. To act as a first point of contact with the Society
2. To coordinate the day to day administration of the Society and its membership services
3. Promotion of member services
4. To assist in the Society’s annual World Congress and other projects as required
Responsible For
Answering general enquiries about the Society’s membership and Congress and online services
Membership fulfilment, database management and reconciliations
Improving and developing member services and web resources
Updating and maintaining the Society’s website
Developing and implementing the Society’s marketing and promotion plan and sourcing new promotional opportunities
Assisting with the implementation and planning of the World Congress
Managing general office administration and communicating with suppliers/contractors as necessary
Working with the Executive Assistant and Executive Director to support the ISUOG’s Board and core committees as required
Carrying out other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Society Person Specification
Attributes Essential Desirable
Qualifications . Degree or equivalent . 2:1 science degree . Office admin systems courses or training
