The team is responsible for setting up the field and if it is the first or second game of the day, the visitor team must help with set‐up. If it is the last game of the day, the visitor team is responsible for cleaning up the field and ensuring everything is locked up. This includes: Putting away any field set‐up equipment left Putting away all the bases Plugging the base posts Putting away the dugout screens (minors field only) Locking up the scorer’s booth Locking up all of the equipment sheds Both Teams are responsible after the game for making sure the field, dugout areas, and stands are clean and all garbage is picked up. The field preparation and set‐up should be completed whenever possible: 20 minutes before the start of the game when the teams will be conducting an / warm up 10 minutes before the start of the game when the teams will not be conducting an infield/outfield warm up (i.e. T‐Ball, Farm) Drag the Field

You will need to pull the base plugs

The bases are magnetic break‐free bases for the players’ safety. You may see them in two pieces. Just place the post piece into the base plate to re‐ connect the two pieces.

The bases then just into the base posts in the ground. You may need to remove dirt from the base post to ensure the bases lie flat against the dirt. To do so, use the tool shown. Put up the Dugout Screens (Minors Field Only) The dugout screens can be found in the scorekeeper’s booth attached to the minors field.
