The knowledge of age. growth, condition, food consumed, reproductive potentials, and population dynamics arc basic fundernentals in modern fisheries biologv. This study is concerned with the angler harvest, age and growth, body-scale relationship, length-weight relationship, coefficient of condition, population trends, spawning activities, and fecundity of the northern bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) in West Okoboji Lake, Iowa. ANGLER HAR\'EST The bluegill has been among the most sought for fish in West Okoboji for many years.
