    ŠARDICKÁ výstava vín 12.3.2016 Mendelův vinařský spolek Mendelův vinařský spolek Šardice vznikl v roce 2001 a má 21 členů. Hlavním posláním spolku je propagace vinařství a vinařských tradic v obci a regionu, osvětová činnost v oblasti vinohradnictví a vinařství, podpora kultury v obci, propagace vinařských stezek a agroturistiky. Pořádání výstav vín a propagace J.G. Mendela je náplní Mendelova vinařského spolku v Šardicích. Vinařství v obci je doloženo již od 13. století. V kronice obce jsou v 16. století zaznamenány vinařské trati Dubová, Hejdy, Nové, Kamenné, v 17. století Šumperky, Červenice, Přední, Dlouhé a Krátké Úlehle. V současné době jsou registrovány viniční trati: Hejdy, Kameny, Dubový-Červenice, Požární čtvrtě, Padělky, Bařinové čtvrtě, Hrubý kopec, Špitálka. Vinařství je doloženo několika historickými pečetěmi od 14. století. Ve Státním oblastním archívu v Brně jsou uloženy dochované „vinohradské regule“ z r. 1753 vydané opatem Pertscherem. S vinařstvím je spojená i dochovaná stavba tzv. Loydrova sklepa z r. 1745, která byla součástí majetku augustiniánů. Klášteru patřil jak dosud zachovaný statek, nyní ve vlastnictví soukromé rmy, historický sklep nyní ve vlastnictví vinařské rmy Neoklas Šardice i Rezidence, nyní patřící obci. Vážení návštěvníci, vítáme Vás opět po roce na 14. výstavě vín Mendelova vinařského spolku - Šardických slavnostech vín. Jsme potěšeni, že Vás můžeme znovu přivítat při ochutnávce poskytnutých vín. Je pro Vás připraveno 511 vzorků vín, z toho je 313 bílých, 148 červených, 40 rosé a 10 klaret ze Šardic, i z okolních obcí. Hodnocení vín proběhlo v pátek 4.3.2016 za účasti zkušených degustátorů ze Šardic a širokého okolí stobodovým systémem. Člověk je tvor omylný a co osobnost degustátora, to jiná chuť, takže je možné, že se ne ve všech výsledcích s názory degustátorů shodnete.

Three districts in the South-Moravian Region, Znojmo, Bˇreclav, and Hodonín, situated in the rural borderland with Austria and Slovakia represented the study area. Both geographical and sociological methods were used to gather evidence for cultural tourism in that study. Firstly, attractiveness analysis of the area defined for cultural tourism took place. Next, factors influencing the potential for cultural tourism affecting rural development in South Moravia were evaluated. Finally, synergistic relations were discussed. In the territory, many forms of tourism intersect. Based on the results, it can be stated that cultural tourism can hardly be the main driver of rural development after the decline of agriculture because the region’s economy has branched out in several directions. However, it can be an important complementary activity that yields both economic and non-economic benefits.

First and foremost are the Archbishop’s Castle and Gardens in Kroměříž, a UNESCO site with a distinct feel bestowed by the imperial builders of Vienna, the Italian architects F. Luchese and G. Tencalla. The castle offers exceptionally well-preserved interiors; the Assembly Hall, considered the most beautiful in the Czech Republic, served from 1848 to 1849 as the seat of the Austrian Parliament, which gave the Habsburg Monarchy a new constitution here. The castle also houses an art gallery of world importance, with a rare work by the Italian master Titian, his painting of Apollo and Marsyas. The Floral Garden, which rank among the most important works of landscape architecture in the world, are quite exceptional.
