It is a pleasure to rise head: Introduction of Guests today and introduce to you and through you six members of the The Speaker: The hon. Minister of Advanced Education and Punjabi Cultural Association, who celebrated their 26th anniversary Technology. at the Jubilee Auditorium on Sunday, October 12, which I had the privilege of attending. These six individuals are sitting in the members’ gallery. They are Gurwarinder Singh Gill, vice-president; Mr. Horner: Well, thank you, Mr. Speaker. It’s indeed a pleasure Ajaib Singh Mann, the education director; Maghar Singh Sandhu, for me to rise today and introduce to you and through you to all the past president; and Mrs. Ajmer Kaur, Mr. Nanak Singh Lamba, members of the Legislature 74 visitors from J.J. Nearing school in and Mr. Kanwal Lyall are volunteers with the Punjabi school. St. Albert. I believe they are seated in both galleries. This is a Mr. Speaker, there are over 2,500 people in my constituency of group of bright, enthusiastic students who are, indeed, our hope for Edmonton-Ellerslie who identify their primary language as Punjabi, the future of this province. They are also celebrating a special year and the Punjabi Cultural Association has been instrumental in this year as it’s the 10-year anniversary for J.J. Nearing. I would providing these constituents with an opportunity to experience their like to introduce the group and their teachers Mrs. Christina culture and traditions as they flourish in Edmonton.
