COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF DEDICATION OF A LENGTH OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH & A LENGTH OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY PARISHES OF UPTON AND LONG NEWNTON HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 25 Notice is hereby given that on the 21st November 2016 the strips of land described below were dedicated for use by the public to the intent that the same shall thereafter be enjoyed by the public as a public footpath and public bridleway. DESCRIPTION OF THE BRIDLEWAY TO BE CREATED A length of public bridleway in the Parishes of and Long Newnton that commences at its junction with Public Footpath NLN22 in Long Newnton at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) ST 9026/9386 south-west of Little Larkhill Farm and extends in a generally north-easterly direction along the course of the former Kemble to Tetbury railway line for approximately 33 metres to a point at OSGR ST 9028/9390 where it crosses into Tetbury Upton and then continues in a generally north-easterly direction along the former railway line for approximately 860 metres to a point at OSGR ST 9079/9454 where it crosses back into Long Newnton and continues in a generally northerly direction for approximately 191 metres to a point at OSGR ST 9087/9473 where it crosses back into Tetbury Upton for a further 83 metres where it meets the Long Newnton Road (no. 3/272) at OSGR ST 9089/ 9481 south-west of the Trouble House Inn and having a width of 3.0 metres. DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF FOOTPATH TO BE CREATED A length of public footpath in the Parishes of Long Newnton and Tetbury Upton that commences at the cattle grid at its junction with Public Footpath NLN3 in Long Newnton at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) ST 9063/9405 north-west of The Larks and continues in a generally north-westerly direction for approximately 100 metres to a point at OSGR ST 9054/9409 north of Little Larkhill Farm where it crosses into Tetbury Upton and continues in a generally north-westerly direction for approximately 20 metres to OSGR ST 9053/9411 where it joins the aforesaid bridleway and having a width of 2.0 metres. LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS The following limitations apply to the Notice of Dedication: OSGR ST 9026/9386 Right of landowner to erect Bridleway gate compliant to British Standard 5709 (2006); OSGR ST 9053/9411 Bridleway gate compliant to British Standard 5709 (2006); OSGR ST 9054/9412 Bridleway gate compliant to British Standard 5709 (2006); OSGR ST 9054/9410 Field gate; OSGR ST 9085/9469 2 Field Gates; OSGR ST 9088/9482 Bridleway gate compliant to British Standard 5709 (2006).
