Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) is a diversified agribusiness company dedicated to improving the productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that sustainably increase crop and livestock yields. With FY2012-13 consolidated sales of Rs. 3,100 crore, GAVL has interests in animal feed, oil palm plantations, agri-inputs and poultry.

The Animal Feed business is India’s largest, producing over 1 million tons annually of high-quality feed and cutting-edge nutrition products for dairy cattle, poultry & aquaculture. GAVL has also entered Bangladesh through a JV with the ACI Group, where it is rapidly becoming a key player in animal feed and poultry breeding.The Oil Palm Plantation business has over 51000 hectares of smallholder cultivation across AP, Goa, , Orissa, TN, Karnataka and Maharashtra. With potential cultivation of 200,000+ hectares, is positioned to significantly reduce India’s crippling dependence on imported edible oil.The Agri-Inputs business is a niche player in innovative agrochemicals, with strong market share in plant growth promoters, soil conditioners, and cotton herbicides.

The Poultry business, best known for the two brands Real Good Chicken and Yummiez, is now a JV with Tyson Foods. Godrej Agrovet has 46 manufacturing facilities across India, a network of ~10,000 rural distributors/dealers, and over 2250 employees.

ROLE: Management Consultant: L&D

Key Responsibilities of the role

 Support implementation and launch of organization-wide Learning Management System (LMS)  Content & Knowledge Management o Develop and Manage all content library in the LMS o Organize and audit data to ensure proper maintenance and retention of content  Support the establishment of dedicated learning centers in-line with organization’s vision  Anchor the on-boarding and induction process as per the organization’s policy and structure  Work closely with L&D team to support the on-going projects & interventions  L&D analytics and dashboards.

Key capabilities required for this position:

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES: ESSENTIAL

 In-depth understanding of adult-learning and technology-based tools in L&D space  Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering effective Training & Development programs, primarily through eLearning solutions  Understanding of HR operations, overall employee life-cycle and employee engagement  Exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal abilities – in one on one as well as group settings  Strong project management capabilities  Ability to lead and engage people without formal authority

 High degree of emotional and social awareness

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES: PREFFERED

 Exposure to Success Factors, Learning Management System and Knowledge Management System  Proven Track record in managing L&D Programs in a complex, matrix business environment  Ability to lead business change initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders  Experience in partnering with Vendors, Universities and leading providers of Training & Development solutions.  Independent, self-starter who thrives on learning and execution in a rapidly changing environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
