SNIP OF TIME (A. Jordsjo) - rider reported the gelding raced greenly in the straight.

DEEVINE (P. Gatt) - laid in under pressure in the straight.

EIGHT OVER EIGHT (S. Fawke) - laid out rounding the home turn and under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SOUTHERN LIGHTS (T. Pannell) - jumped away awkwardly. Inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight.

DRESSMAKER (K. Crowther) - laid in behind the heels of EIGHT OVER EIGHT, inside the , and had to be steadied momentarily.

KAMALA KHAN (K. Zechner) - jumped away awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

QUISSENT (J. Eaton) - disappointed approaching the when attempting a tight run between the heels of ZARAFSHAN, which had commenced to give ground and SOUTHERN LIGHTS, which laid in slightly, and was obliged to alter course to obtain clear ground.

RACE 2: MAGIC MILLIONS TWO-YEARS-OLD PLATE - 1200 Metres

GRAND HOST (K. Crowther) - contacted on jumping away.

LEWANDOWSKI (D. Caboche) - slow to begin. In the vicinity of the had to take hold and lost its position when tightened by THE SANDS OF TIME, which shifted in and away from DAILY SPIRIT. Raced greenly under pressure in the straight.

THE SANDS OF TIME (A. Jordsjo) - jumped away awkwardly. In the vicinity of the 600 metres shifted in and away from DAILY SPIRIT onto LEWANDOWSKI. In the vicinity of the was hampered when DAILY SPIRIT hung in. In the vicinity of the 250 metres was forced to take hold and lost its position when DAILY SPIRIT continued to hang in.

SUPER STRIKER (J. Eaton) - slow to begin. Laid out rounding the home turn.

CELTIC VALOUR (D. Tourneur) - laid in under pressure in the straight.

ANOTHER AWARD (J. Holder) - laid in under pressure in the straight.

DAILY SPIRIT (T. Voorham) - raced keenly in the middle stages of the event. In the vicinity of the 600 metres laid in onto THE SANDS OF TIME. Hung in severely in the straight. In the vicinity of the 300 metres again approaching the 250 metres hung in onto THE SANDS OF TIME and. Approaching the improved onto the heels of KIRINIA and had to be steadied. Trainer Mr L. Macdonald was advised that the filly would now be required tractably in an approval jump out or an official barrier trial prior to accepting for a future race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. Lost its off hind plate during the event.

SHOWUSYOURMOTOR (J. Potter) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted in bumping GRAND HOST. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

RACE 3: TAB HANDICAP - 2500 Metres

SWANKYTOFF (A. Jordsjo) - had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the vicinity of the 600 metres until near the 400 metres.

TURF MAN (S. Fawke) - rolled in marginally in the vicinity of the 600 metres onto HAPPY ATOM. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on more than five occasions prior to the and was fined $500.

SPIEGEL GROVE (B. Vorster) - held up from the vicinity of the 600 metres until near the 400 metres. Rider reported that after finding clear ground in the vicinity of the 400 metres, the gelding had not finished the race off.

DESERT MINTY (D. Tourneur) - raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

DOWN THE LANE (S. Logan) - lost its near hind plate during the event.

REBEL ROMANCE (J. Toeroek) - rider reported the mare hung out throughout the event. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

HAPPY ATOM (J. Holder) - momentarily inconvenienced in the vicinity of the 600 metres when TURF MAN rolled in.

RACE 4: CARLTON DRAUGHT THREE-YEAR-OLD PLATE - 1200 Metres

FORTUNE FOLLOWS (B. Vorster) - slow to begin. Laid out under pressure in the straight. Approaching the 100 metres shifted out under pressure onto BUBBLES MCGINTY, which was forced to take hold when tightened onto OUTPOST. Rider was severely reprimanded and advised to take make a greater effort to keep his mounts straight in future when they commence to shift ground.

CALYPSO REIGN (K. Crowther) - raced fiercely in the early and middle stages of the event.

RACE 4: CARLTON DRAUGHT THREE-YEAR-OLD PLATE - 1200 Metres (Cont’d)

AIR MARSHAL (T. Pannell) - slow to begin. Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages and approaching the 100 metres shifted out into the line of GLORY GAME. Rider was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground.

MAGNO (D. Tourneur) - shifted out on jumping away onto BRIMARVI ROOBOY. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

BRIMARVI ROOBOY (S. Logan) - inconvenienced on jumping away when contacted by MAGNO.

OUTPOST (R. Hurdle) - shifted in on jumping away onto GLORY GAME. Had to be steadied approaching the 100 metres when tightened onto BUBBLES MCGINTY by GLORY GAME, which had to alter course to avoid the heels of AIR MARSHAL. A post-race veterinary examination revealed thumps and a poor recovery. First aid administered.

BUBBLES MCGINTY (J. Holder) - had to take hold approaching the 100 metres when tightened between FORTUNE FOLLOWS, which shifted out and OUTPOST, which had been taken in by GLORY GAME.

GLORY GAME (T. Voorham) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted out inconveniencing OUTPOST. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Approaching the 100 metres had to shift in slightly to avoid the heels of AIR MARSHAL and in doing so, took OUTPOST in.

RACE 5: FIBRETRACK HANDICAP - 1200 Metres

VON COSTA GLASS (J. Eaton) - slow to begin and shortly after was hampered when contacted by WINNING PARTNER.

ARKHAM KNIGHT (P. Gatt) - raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

KABINI (D. Tourneur) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ZALMONA (T. Voorham) - jumped away awkwardly. Became held up and had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the home turn until the vicinity of the 300 metres when awkwardly placed inside WINNING PARTNER and behind HOWLOWCANYOUGO.

HOWLOWCANYOUGO (T. Pannell) - inconvenienced when contacted on jumping away. Rider reported the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event however, when placed under pressure had not improved and was one paced to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

WINNING PARTNER (B. Vorster) - shifted in on jumping away onto VON COSTA GLASS. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

LEFT HAND MAN (K. Zechner) - shifted out jumping away contacting HOWLOWCANYOUGO.

RACE 6: WEDDINGS AT BRIDGES EVENT CENTRE HANDICAP - 1600 Metres

BLOW TORCH (J. Eaton) - contacted on jumping away.

GETOUTTHEWAY (C. Jones) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted out contacting NEAR MAGIC. In the vicinity of the 1300 metres had to take hold and lost its position when EXALTED DEE shifted in after receiving pressure from ANCIENT HISTORY (IRE). Held up from the vicinity of the 400 metres until near the 200 metres.

CLASSY JOE (J. Maund) - shifted out on jumping away onto BLOW TORCH. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres and was fined $100.

RACE 6: WEDDINGS AT BRIDGES EVENT CENTRE HANDICAP - 1600 Metres (Cont’d)

ANCIENT HISTORY (IRE) (T. Pannell) - shifted in onto EXALTED DEE in the vicinity of the 1300 metres taking that mare’s running line. Rider reprimanded and advised in future to ensure he was sufficiently clear prior to shifting ground.

OLIVE GROVE (B. Vorster) - shifted out on jumping away onto TEMEYEZ. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

EXALTED DEE (K. Zechner) - in the vicinity of the 1300 metres lost its running when ANCIENT HISTORY (IRE) shifted in. Shortly after elected to shift in onto GETOUTTHEWAY, which lost its position. Rider was severely reprimanded and advised in future that when receiving pressure, he should take hold of his mount rather than pass his predicament onto other riders.

NEAR MAGIC (S. Fawke) - contacted on jumping away. Held up from the entrance to the straight until inside the 400 metres.

TEMEYEZ (K. Bishop) - contacted on jumping away.

RACE 7: HENRY & JACK WEST HANDICAP - 1800 Metres

KAY KAY BOY (IRE) (T. Voorham) - jumped away awkwardly. In the vicinity of the 200 metres was inconvenienced when taken wider by HASTA LA FIORENTE, which shifted out.

LIEDER (J. Eaton) - inconvenienced on jumping away. Laid in under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of the thumps. First aid administered.

REVLIS (P. Gatt) - had difficulty in obtaining clear ground at the entrance to the straight until inside the 100 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SO WE ARE (D. Caboche) - laid in under pressure in the straight.

ELUDING (B. Vorster) - shifted out shortly after the start inconveniencing HASTA LA FIORENTE. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

HASTA LA FIORENTE (T. Pannell) - inconvenienced shortly after the start. Held up from the entrance to the straight until in the vicinity of the 200 metres when it shifted out to improve inconveniencing KAY KAY BOY (IRE). Rider reminded of his obligations when shifting ground.

VACANT BLOCK (A. Jordsjo) - rolled out approaching the 100 metres onto SET TO CRUISE.

DREAMED (D. Tourneur) - difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until inside the 300 metres.

OURKHANI (J. Toeroek) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to race. Had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the vicinity of the 300 metres until near the 200 metres. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

ELUSIVE ROSE (K. Bishop) - raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Held up from the entrance to the straight until the vicinity of the 250 metres.

SET TO CRUISE (J. Holder) - shifted out on jumping away onto LIEDER. Raced wide without cover throughout the event. Had to momentarily steady approaching the 100 metres when tightened between ELUDING, which laid in at the same time as VACANT BLOCK rolled out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

APPOLLO JET (J. Potter) - raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Held up from the entrance to the straight until inside the 300 metres.

RACE 8: FINN & PADDY WEST HANDICAP - 1200 Metres

OH MO (C. Jones) - rolled in, in the vicinity of the 600 metres onto COUNTER SPIN. Rider was reminded of her obligations when shifting ground. Held up from the entrance to the straight until the vicinity of the 200 metres. When questioned regarding her decision to shift to the inside of the heels of JUST CHIPPING AWAY in the vicinity of the 600 metres rather than to its outside, rider stated that as her horse was travelling well she had elected to come inside and take up a positon behind CORONEL, which she felt would take her into the race. She added in hindsight she may have been better served in improving to the outside of JUST CHIPPING AWAY’S heels, which would have afforded her more option in the straight.

JUST KAPPY (J. Potter) - lost its off hind plate during the event. Rider explained the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event however, when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

MUTUAL RESPECT (J. Eaton) - held up from the entrance to the straight until in the vicinity of the 300 metres.

NASIFA (J. Maund) - contacted on jumping away. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

SILVERHAWK (T. Pannell) - jumped away awkwardly.

BALLAST (S. Logan) - lost its off hind plate during the event.

CORONEL (J. Toeroek) - momentarily held up at the entrance to the straight. Rider explained that the gelding had travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event however, when asked for an effort in the vicinity of the 400 metres had not let down as he had anticipated and was disappointing to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

JUST CHIPPING AWAY (K. Crowther) - shifted in on jumping away contacting NASIFA. Difficulty obtaining ground from the entrance to the straight to the vicinity of the 200 metres.

KINGSON (K. Zechner) - raced wide without cover throughout the event.

CARLALUISA (J. Holder) - jumped away awkwardly.

SONIC DEED (D. Tourneur) - had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until approaching the 300 metres. Lost its off fore plate during the event.

COUNTER SPIN (E. Boyd) - momentarily inconvenienced approaching the 600 metres when OH MO shifted in slightly.

RACE 9: IRONGATE HANDICAP - 1000 Metres

CRIMSON TYCOON (D. Caboche) - rider explained the gelding had travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event however, when asked for an effort had failed to let down as he had anticipated. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

DOMINATION (S. Logan) - raced wide without cover throughout the event.

EXALTED GOLD (T. Pannell) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

NOTHING NEEDED (J. Toeroek) - slow to begin. Rider reported in his opinion, the mare had not handled the track condition.

THE DIFFERENCE (B. Vorster) - slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

RACE 9: IRONGATE HANDICAP - 1000 Metres (Cont’d)

READY SUNSHINE (C. Jones) - had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until the vicinity of the and in the vicinity of the 100 metres had to steady for a short distance when FRENCH ROCK shifted in.

WOUNDED SOLDIER (NZ) (K. Zechner) - jumped away awkwardly. Lost its near fore plate during the event.

FRENCH ROCK (D. Tourneur) - inclined to shift about under pressure in the straight. In the vicinity of the 150 metres rolled out onto READY SUNSHINE and shortly after, shifted back in onto that gelding, which had improved to its inside. Rider reminded of his obligations in keeping his mounts straight when they commence to shift ground.

EMINENT SON (J. Holder) - had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until approaching the 100 metres.

Correct weight was delayed to allow C. Jones (READY SUNSHINE) and Trainer Mr R. Balfour to view the vision in the straight.
