CANTON, – The following is a sampling of events, happenings and notes that highlight how the Pro Football Hall of Fame serves its important mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE!”

EXTENDED HOURS FOR THE HALL OF FAME STORE The Hall of Fame Store is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beginning next week, the Hall of Fame Store will offer extended holiday shopping hours on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

The Store will be open until 7 p.m. on the following days: • Tuesday, Nov. 27 • Wednesday, Nov. 28 • Tuesday, Dec. 4 • Wednesday, Dec. 5 • Tuesday, Dec. 11 • Wednesday, Dec. 12 • Tuesday, Dec. 18 • Wednesday, Dec. 19

Guests do not have to pay Museum admission or parking to shop at the Hall of Fame Store.

: ” The Pro Football Hall of Fame will have screenings of NFL Network’s “A Football Life” this Saturday, Nov. 24. Showcasing the lives and careers of legendary players, coaches and executives, NFL Films examines the untold stories of the most influential NFL icons with unprecedented access. Each documentary tells the story of how their legacy is forever intertwined into the fabric of NFL history.

This weekend, former NFL and 16-time Emmy award-winning broadcaster for NBC Sports Cris Collinsworth will be featured on “A Football Life.” Collinsworth played eight seasons with the Bengals and the one-hour show will feature interviews with numerous people from his NFL and broadcasting career, including family members, Hall of Famer ANTHONY MUÑOZ, NBC’s Sunday Night Football producer Fred Gaudelli and play-by-play announcer .

Screenings will take place tomorrow in the Hall’s Gold Jacket Lounge at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Guests can view “A Football Life: Cris Collinsworth” with the cost of admission. HALL OF FAME PRODUCTIONS Hall of Fame Productions new series “The Future” debuted recently via the Hall of Fame’s social media platforms prior to the matchup between the and the Rams.

“The Future” takes fans inside the Hall of Fame Gallery, home of the bronzed busts, as Hall of Famers share unique and never before heard stories of current players who they feel are the next generation who will land in Canton. The first episode featured discussing the future of Rams Todd Gurley.

2018 OHSAA STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS The 2018 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state football championships will take place Thursday, Nov. 29-Saturday, Dec. 1 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Seven division title games will take place over the three days. The full schedule will be announced once teams earn their spot in their respective championship game.

Tickets for the 2018 OHSAA state football championships are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.ProFootballHOF.com or in person at the Hall’s Box Office.

Single game tickets start at $15 for General Admission and range up to $23 for Club Seats. Prices will increase for tickets purchased the day of the game.

WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT The Pro Football Hall of Fame is home to the world’s largest collection on pro football in the world. Each year, the collection grows as artifacts from milestone moments from the current NFL season arrive in Canton.

This week, the Hall of Fame’s curatorial team put on the white gloves to handle the shoes worn by Julio Jones of the on Sunday, Nov. 11 against the Cleveland Browns.

Jones reached 10,000 career receiving yards in 104 games – the fewest in NFL history. The previous record was 115 games set by Calvin Johnson.

FROM THE RALPH WILSON, JR. PRO FOOTBALL RESEARCH & PRESERVATION CENTER: The Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research & Preservation Center is home to the world’s largest collection on football including a personal legacy archive on every player who has competed in the NFL since its founding in 1920. Contained inside the archives are more than 40 million pages of documents and six million photographic images.

Staff help a variety of patrons from fans, researchers, authors, and students as well as serving as a resource of information to the , its 32 clubs and members of the media.

FATHERS AND SONS WHO HAVE PLAYED PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL There are 240 documented sets of fathers and sons who have played professional football in either the AAFC, AFL or NFL.
