SECTION 2 Membership: (All memberships are Family memberships and include spouse and dependent children under 23 years of age.) All memberships expire December 31 of the current year. Minors and guests must be accompanied by an adult member at all time. The 2021 membership fee is $100 per year. An additional, one-time $10 key card deposit is also required for new members.

SECTION 3 In order to receive an $80.00 reduction in your next year’s renewal fee, you must perform 10 hours of volunteer labor for the club. Please record work hours with the primary members name on available work hour slips and turn them in at the clubhouse counter or place in the lock box in the entryway if the clubhouse isn't open. Examples of elegible work hours are: - Crew - Trap Crew - Range, Grounds, or Clubhouse Maintenance - Other Projects.

SECTION 5 Must be completed by all applicants. All family members included under this membership must sign. A legal guardian must sign for all minors. Membership applications will not be approved with out all signatures.

In consideration of my involvement with the Willow River Rod and Gun Club, Inc. and its affiliated activities, I acknowledge that:

1. I understand and accept the fact all shooting and gun related activities pose many dangers and risks, including personal injury, death or property damage. 2. I agree, as a condition of being allowed to participate in shooting activities as a member of the Willow River Rod and Gun Club, Inc., that I freely and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury, death and property damage.

Willow River Rod and Gun Club 2021 RANGE RULES Good sportsmanship is the underlying foundation of this club. It is your DUTY to respect the privilege of using this facility. The Club’s money and the labor of members keep these ranges functional. Any person(s) found not obeying the range rules, vandalizing club property, or displaying obnoxious or dangerous behavior will be dealt with by the Board of Directors. General Rules for Firearms

 All range users should be familiar with general firearms safety. USE COMMON SENSE!

 Always keep firearms pointed in safe direction.

 All firearms must be in good working condition.

 All firearms must remain unloaded unless at the shooting line.

 All firearms must be unloaded and actions open while anyone is down range.

 Anyone under 18 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult.

 NO tracer ammunition allowed on any range.

 NO fully automatic firearms allowed. NO simulated automatic fire such as bump fire.

 Alcohol is prohibited on active shooting ranges and no one will be allowed to shoot who appears to be under the influence.

 NO shooting before 9am or after dusk. Only exception is trap league night on lighted trap ranges. Pistol / Rimfire Range  Firearms allowed o Pistols – rimfire, original centerfire pistol cartridges, and black powder.

-type targets only. All targets must be mounted on provided backers.

 All shooters must use the same firing line.

 Portable shooting benches can be moved to desired firing line. Trap Range  Firearms allowed - shooting target class #6 or smaller bird shot.

 Targets allowed - Standard pitch or biodegradable clay targets.

 The automated throwers at both trap ranges are for league use only.

 Portable and hand throwers are allowed at lower trap range only. Make certain clays are thrown between the right hand and left hand range markers.

 Targets allowed - Paper targets on provided target stands. Rifle Range

 Firearms allowed o Rifles, Pistols, and muzzle loaders – up to but not including 50 BMG.

o Shotgun – slugs only.

 Paper-type targets only. All targets must be mounted on provided backers.

 Firing Line Typically, the benches will be the firing line. If agreeable with everyone present, the firing line may be temporarily moved closer to the backers. General Rules for Archery

 All shooting is to be done from a common shooting line.

 Anyone under 18 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult.

 Alcohol is prohibited on active shooting ranges and no one will be allowed to shoot who appears to be under the influence.

 Never nock, draw, or release an arrow with anyone down range. Keep your arrows in your quiver until it is clear to shoot.

 Check to make sure the line is done shooting before retrieving arrows.

 Always keep your arrows pointed towards the ground or the target and keep your finger off the trigger of your release until you are ready to shoot. If you need to point your bow towards the sky or ground to draw it, your poundage is too high. Range Specific Rules  Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. No shooting wildlife, stumps, or other non-target objects on the outdoor range.

can only be used on the outdoor range using the special rated target with field points only. If you want to shoot broad-heads, you need to supply your own targets.

 Vertical bows can only be used with field points. If you want to shoot broad-heads, you are restricted to the outdoor practice range and you need to supply your own targets. Acknowledgment of Receipt of Club Range Rules ( include with application )
