Introduction Previous work package reports on Denmark in this project have already discussed the Danish type of belonging and the resulting ‘civic/culturalist assimilation’ approach to cultural diver- sity and concomitant legislative and political responses (See WP1 and WP2). The field of education in general and primary school education in particular, is no exception to this ten- dency. As no group constituency favours any notion of multiculturalism – which is associated with illiberalism and value relativism – no or very few of the standard multicultural legislative 1 initiatives for the preservation of language, culture, and religion are seen in Denmark. Yet the system of Danish public education is facing cultural and linguistic diversity every day in a way that has to be dealt with. In a Danish political context of lacking political will to any sig- nificant degree of diversity politics this makes this sphere interesting as one of the areas in which the growing foreign/Muslim presence shows the most and in which the host society is directly confronted with cultural differences. -

Aalborg, Dánsko, únor 2019 Aalborg nebo také Ålborg je čtvrté největší dánské město, v roce 2017 město mělo přes 113 000 obyvatel. Aalborg leží na severu Jutského poloostrova, je jeho druhým největším městem a je hlavním městem regionu Nordjylland (Severní Jutsko). Aalborg je také přístavním městem. Naproti Aalborgu, asi 600 metrů přes úžinu Limfjord leží město Nørresundby. Aalborg leží vzdušnou čarou 220 km severozápadně od Kodaně, 248 km severně od hranice Dánska s Německem, 102 km severně od Aarhusu a 56 km jihozápadně od přístavního města Fredrikshavn. Network-Political Resiliency A Classification of Internet Resiliency by Country Chloe Reynolds & Saghar Tamaddon Network-Political Resiliency 2 Abstract Recent Internet disruptions in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Burma and Nepal beg the question, “How vulnerable is any country to an Internet access disruption by its government?” This paper seeks to answer that question by taking a look at both internet infrastructure and politics to create a „Network-Political Resiliency‟ (NPR) classification. The network infrastructure metric for each country is based on Roberts and Larochelle‟s (2010) number of „Points of Control‟ (POCs). POCs are the most influential Autonomous Systems (ASs) in a country‟s Internet network. Roberts and Larochelle determined the POCs based on a new AS relationship inference method, applied to data from The Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA). Three different political metrics are used, gathered from two sources: a) OpenNet Initiative‟s Political Internet Filtering score (see map in Appendix 2), b) OpenNet Initiative‟s overall Internet Filtering score, and c) Reporters Without Borders‟ Internet Enemies Report (see map in Appendix 3). The combination of these metrics results in a final NPR classification. In short, only a small portion of countries has a "high" NPR classification, and most fall into the low and very low resiliency categories. Given that Internet access is felt by many to be a matter of human rights, national NPR levels can be a red flag for concerned entities, such as human rights organizations. NPR ratings can also serve as a call for increasing network infrastructure. Network-Political Resiliency 3 Political Infrastructure of the Internet Proponents of open Internet access and net neutrality argue that unfiltered widely and freely available Internet access is a democratization tool (Reporters Without Borders, 2011). -
