High of 72. Wind NNW 4-8 mph. The start of the second round was postponed on Friday due to intense rains and thunderstorms. The nearest reporting station measured 9.79 inches of rain on Friday. Tee times on Saturday were delayed 30 minutes due to course conditions. The second round began at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. PGA TOUR statement on the conditions and the 10th hole - Given the rain that the golf course received, the maintenance team and the golf course itself responded remarkably. After spending the morning repairing bunkers and working tirelessly to get the course in appropriate condition, Rules and Competitions staff assessed the playability of 18 holes and have determined that due to the excessive amount of rain the par-4 10th hole will be significantly shortened for round 2. Preferred lies were in effect for the second round. For safety reason, spectators were not permitted to be on site for the second round. The third round will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, with players in groups of three starting of tees 1 and 10. Players will remain in their third-round groupings and return to the course for the start of round 4 and play until darkness. Play will be completed on Monday with an anticipated start of 7:30 a.m.
