All rights reserved. i Foreword This publication is for those who conduct secondary school athletic programs. It will be revised and brought up to date annually and distributed to all member schools at the begin- ning of each school year. If, after reading and studying its contents, school administrators have a question/s regard- ing any rule, they should communicate with the Commissioner. Whenever there is doubt as to the eligibility of any student, a written inquiry from the Principal to the Commissioner will receive a reply explaining the pertinent rule/s interpretation/s or the inquiry will be referred to the Executive Committee for review and for a decision. “Notes” and questions are inserted as explanatory and clarifying material. Such are not to be considered as parts of the body of the By-Laws and the changing of such does not require Board of Director action. Questions and answers have been included to assist in interpreting the rules and regulations. The questions are real ones gathered from past correspondence to the Association Office. The answers given are according to rules and their interpretations by the past Executive Committees.     ANNUAL REPORT 2014-2015 Dear LHS Family and Friends, Teachers, curriculum, students, activities, achievement, and a physical campus are the visible elements at Lutheran High School. Some believe that in order to reach our full potential, in order to show our value, in order to efectively reach our mission, we must maximize these elements. Wisdom, the application of knowledge and experience, is needed to lead this potential and validate our mission to prepare students for Christian life while providing academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment. The collaboration of wisdom and the gathering of knowledge and experience are aforded to us from an incredible resume of people which include teachers, parents, students, alum, school administration, the Board of Directors, the Association of Church Delegates, the Emeriti Association, Lutheran Church Pastors and Directors of Christian Education, the Indiana Department of Michael Brandt Education, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, the Indiana District Superintendent of Schools, the Athletic Directors and Head of School Principals from our Indiana Crossroads Conference, Indianapolis Public Safety Ofcials, the Department of Natural Resources, the Indiana High School Athletic Association, The College Board, Indiana University Advanced College Placement, the Department of Homeland Security, the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation, and last, and most importantly, our Heavenly Father. It is in Proverbs 9:10 we read, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” The Bible uses the word “fear” over 300 times in reference to God. It is in this use that this word “fear” is actually referring to our immense respect and wonder of the power of God.

The team tennis state championships will be held at North Central High School, while the singles and doubles state championships will be held at Carmel High School and Park Tudor School. REPORT ON OFFICIALS FOR THE CROSS COUNTRY TOURNAMENT SERIES Assistant Commissioner Gardner presented a list of cross country starters eligible for the Cross Country Tournament Series. The tournament requires the use of 32 officials. REPORT ON OFFICIALS FOR THE SOCCER TOURNAMENT SERIES Assistant Commissioner Wynns presented a list of soccer officials eligible for the soccer tournament series. The soccer tournament series requires 192 officials for boys’ sectionals, and 196 officials for girls’ sectionals. REPORT ON OFFICIALS FOR THE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT SERIES Assistant Commissioner Searcy submitted the names of volleyball officials who have applied to work the volleyball tournament series.
