It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2018 – 2019 athletic seasons. Our Goal for John Adams High School is for our students to be excellent in the classroom, on the athletic fields and South Bend Community in the community. Just as I would not do anything unbecom- ing to my status as an adult in the homes of my friends, I will not act in an unbecoming manner while Chris Berg attending school functions. It is the Assistant Principal coach’s job to teach the players the game; and unless I would accept public criticism on how I handle my Jeannie Dietrich Cristina Campos job, I should not publicly criticize Assistant Principal Assistant Principal a coach for the way he does his job. John Adams Athletic Boosters To encourage students, parents, faculty and alumni attendance at all athletic contests and activities in which athletes representing John Adams High School participate. To raise and distribute funds for the benefit of the athletic teams and student atheltes representing John Adams High School. To build the enthusiasm and morale of the athletes, students, coaching and administrative staff through example and deed. 2018-2019 JOIN US! John Adams Athletic Boosters volunteer their time and give their MEETING DATES support throughout the school year. We are looking for help to staff concessions, help with the banquets, sell John Adams Spirit Wear, and other fund raising events. October 1 JAHS Adult Athletic Boosters pay for all athletic awards. It will be revised and brought up to date annually and distributed to all member schools at the begin- ning of each school year. If, after reading and studying its contents, school administrators have a question/s regard- ing any rule, they should communicate with the Commissioner. Whenever there is doubt as to the eligibility of any student, a written inquiry from the Principal to the Commissioner will receive a reply explaining the pertinent rule/s interpretation/s or the inquiry will be referred to the Executive Committee for review and for a decision. “Notes” and questions are inserted as explanatory and clarifying material. Such are not to be considered as parts of the body of the By-Laws and the changing of such does not require Board of Director action. Questions and answers have been included to assist in interpreting the rules and regulations. The questions are real ones gathered from past correspondence to the Association Office.
