Ian Pope is an Olympic and national swimming coach. Ian is head coach of Melbourne Vicentre Swimming Club in Melbourne. He served on Australian Olympic coaching sta s in 2000 and 2008. Some of his past swimmers include Michael Klim, Matt Welsh, Grant Hackett, Brett Hawke, Giaan Rooney and Patrick Murphy. He has been named Victorian Swimming Coach of the Year nine times and Australia’s overall Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004. Keynote Presenter Ian Pope Ian has an outstanding ability to retain and maintain athletes into their senior years. As head coach he and his team continue to produce Australian representatives, including on the Olympic team to Rio.

Eric Du is currently the Learn to Swim and Facility Coordinator at Mentone Grammar, Victoria. Eric is a swim instructor from infants through to squads and adults, coach, assessor, supervisor and mentor in the aquatics industry for a number of years. Eric holds Bronze coaching and coaching with a disability, along with Bronze Medallion.
