    Section 355 Reviews of Output: U105 When a local commercial radio licence undergoes a change of control (this includes licence transfer), Ofcom is required, under section 355 of the Communications Act 2003 (the Act), to undertake a review of the effects or likely effects of the change of control in relation to: • the quality and range of programmes included in the service; • the character of the service, and; • the extent to which Ofcom’s duty under section 314 of the Act is performed in relation to the service. Ofcom’s duty under section 314 of the Act relates to securing the inclusion of an appropriate amount of local material, and a suitable proportion of locally-made programmes in the service. Under section 356 of the Act, where it appears to Ofcom from its review that the change of control would be prejudicial to any of the three matters listed above, then it must vary the licence, by including such conditions as it considers appropriate, with a view to ensuring that the relevant change of control is not so prejudicial. In doing so, any new or varied conditions must be such that the licence holder would have satisfied them throughout the three months immediately before the change of control. Ofcom is required to publish a report of its review, setting out its conclusions and any steps it proposes to take under section 356. Where Ofcom proposes to vary the licence, it is required to give the licence holder a reasonable opportunity to make representations about the variation. On 23 November 2016, a change of control took place at the Wireless Group plc, as a result of all of the company’s share capital being acquired by News Corp UK & Ireland Limited.

    JYP Entertainment (035900 KQ ) Margin recovery in 3Q19 will be key Entertainment 2Q19 review: OP slightly misses expectations, at W9.4bn Results Comment For 2Q19, JYP Entertainment announced consolidated revenue of W39.2bn (+24.1% YoY; all growth figures hereafter are YoY) and operating profit of W9.4bn (+3.9%). Operating profit was August 16, 2019 slightly below our estimate (W10.3bn) and the consensus. Revenue growth continued to be driven by the content (+40% for album/digital music) and global digital (+52% to W1.3bn for YouTube revenue) segments , and the monetization of new artists also gained traction. That said, margins contracted due to increased artist royalties and management costs (gross margin fell 4.6%p to 43.7%). While the decline was modest, these costs are affected by a (Maintain) Buy number of factors, including the terms of individual artist contracts, leverage effects from album sales, and overseas schedules. We advise keeping a close eye on any structural changes Target Price (12M, W) ▼ 28,000 through 3Q19, when revenue from TWICE’s dome tour is likely to be recognized. Toward this end we use a variety of channels to reach researchers, students, decision-makers, media practitioners, journalists, information officers, teachers, and interested members of the general public. Nordicom works to establish and strengthen links between the Nordic research community and colleagues in all parts of the world, both through information and by linking individual researchers, research groups and institutions. Nordicom documents media trends in the Nordic countries. Our joint Nordic information service addresses users throughout our region, in Europe and further afield. The production of comparative media statistics forms the core of this service. Nordicom has been commissioned by UNESCO and the Swedish Government to operate The Unesco International Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media, whose aim it is to keep users around the world abreast of current research findings and insights in this area. An institution of the Nordic Council of Ministers, Nordicom operates at both national and regional levels.
