Overtime wins and losses appear in both the W and L columns, as well as the OTW and OTL columns in a team’s conference record. Shootouts will only occur if a conference game remains tied after the lone overtime, which is now 3-on-3, with the shootout winner earning two points and the loser getting one point, the same as an overtime win and loss.

2021 Hobey Baker Award Nominees 2021 Hockey Looking to win the conference's second straight Hobey Baker Award and third overall, 17 student-athletes from the NCHC are among 69 NCAA Humanitarian Award Division I men’s players nominated for this year’s Hobey Baker Memorial Award. Among the 17 NCHC nominees, 12 are forwards, four are defense- The Hockey Humanitarian Award men and one is a goaltender.
