October 1992 Wednesday X Lotto was discontinued. October 1992 The Australian Lotto Bloc introduced Thursday Lotto, 6 from 45, at 50 cents per entry. December 1992 South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales formed the National Lotto Bloc. February 1994 The National Lotto Bloc introduced OZ Lotto, 6 from 45, with a Division One priZe of $1 million, five priZe divisions and a $1 cost per entry. March 1994 Easiplay Club was introduced. November 1995 Saturday X Lotto double draw was introduced, with the cost per entry increasing from 30 cents to 40 cents. May 1996 Thursday Lotto was discontinued. May 1996 The Powerball Bloc (South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales) was formed and launched Powerball, 5 from 45 in the first barrel and 1 from 45 in the Powerball barrel. With a Division One prize of $2 million and seven prize divisions, the cost per entry was 55 cents. February 1997 Saturday X Lotto reverted to a single draw. November 1997 Keno went on sale in the ACT via ACTTAB. February 1998 Keno priZe structure was altered, guaranteeing a Spot 10 priZe of $1 million. June 1999 A new online lottery system commenced. June 1999 The frequency of Keno draws changed to every 3.5 minutes. June 1999 Monday X Lotto was renamed SA Lotto. May 2000 Extended Play Instant Scratchies game launched. February 2001 Keno priZe structure was altered to include a jackpot amount in addition to the $1 million guaranteed Spot 10 prize. December 2002 Saturday X Lotto guaranteed a Division One priZe of $3 million and the cost per entry increased from 40 cents to 45 cents. November 2003 A Wednesday night draw was added to SA Lotto and the Division One prize increased to $400,000. The cost per entry increased from 25 cents to 30 cents. January 2005 Powerball guaranteed a Division One priZe of $3 million and the cost per entry increased from 50 cents to 55 cents. July 2005 South Australia, New South Wales and Western Australia formed the Monday and Wednesday Lotto Bloc. October 2005 Oz Lotto was revised to 7 from 45, with seven priZe divisions. March 2006 Saturday X Lotto guaranteed a Division One priZe of $4 million and the cost per entry increased from 45 cents to 50 cents. April 2006 SA Lotto was discontinued. April 2006 Monday and Wednesday X Lotto, 6 from 45, was introduced with a Division One priZe of $1 million every Monday and $750,000 every Wednesday, five priZe divisions and a cost per entry of 30 cents. October 2006 An SMS results service launched. April 2007 Legislation passed to increase the legal age to play lottery games in South Australia from 16 to 18 years. The penalty for selling to, or buying a ticket or claiming a prize on behalf of, a person aged less than 18 years increased from $500 to $5,000. June 2007 LuckySA Lottery, based on a computerised traditional lottery, was introduced with a $500,000 top prize. June 2007 A $10 Instant Scratchies ticket launched with a priZe pool of $3 million. August 2007 Powerball increased from 55 cents to 60 cents per entry. December 2007 LuckySA Lottery was drawn. March 2008 Keno went on sale via selected SATAB outlets. June 2008 SMS results service was expanded with ‘Dividend on Demand’, enabling players to receive prize dividends direct to their mobile phones. October 2008 Saturday X Lotto increased from 50 cents to 55 cents per entry. October 2008 Victoria joined the Monday and Wednesday Lotto Bloc. The Monday and Wednesday X Lotto Division One prize was a guaranteed $1 million and the cost per entry increased from 30 cents to 40 cents. June 2009 South Australia’s largest lottery priZe of $53.3 million was won with an Oz Lotto ticket. July 2009 An annuity-style Instant Scratchies ticket was launched, with the chance to win a top prize of $75,000 every year for ten years. October 2009 SA Lotteries was one of only two lottery operators in the world to achieve the highest level (4) of accreditation under the World Lotteries Association (WLA) Responsible Gambling Framework. December 2009 A free iPhone App launched. February 2010 Powerball increased from 60 cents to 65 cents per entry. May 2010 The online lottery system was replaced. October 2010 Instant Scratchies tickets, featuring a barcode which could be read by self-service ticket checkers launched. January 2011 Saturday X Lotto was revised with a sixth priZe division and increased from 55 cents to 60 cents per entry. June 2011 Oz Lotto increased from $1 to $1.10 per entry. June 2011 Powerball increased from 65 cents to 75 cents per entry. February 2012 Monday and Wednesday X Lotto was revised with a sixth prize division and increased from 40 cents to 50 cents per entry. The Division One prize was a guaranteed $1 million or an equal share of $2 million if there were more than two Division One winners. September 2012 An online play facility was launched through an alliance with OZ Lotteries. December 2012 Tatts Lotteries SA Pty Ltd was appointed as the Master Agent to operate SA Lotteries’ products and brands for a 40-year term. March 2013 Powerball changed to 6 from 40 in the first barrel and 1 from 20 in the Powerball barrel. An eighth priZe division was added and the cost per entry was increased from 75 cents to 85 cents. July 2014 Saturday Lotto price increased from 60 cents to 65 cents per game. August 2015 Set for Life was introduced with a 1st PriZe of $20,000 every month for 20 years. Set for Life is a unique eight from 37 numbers game with draws conducted every day of the year. The first draw was held on Friday 7 August 2015. June 2018 The Pools was discontinued after the draw on 25 June 2018. .

    22 August 2013 Tatts Group Announces Full-year Results “An Outstanding Year” Brisbane – 22 August 2013: Tatts Group Limited’s (ASX: TTS) full-year results released today highlight the strong trading performance of Tatts’ largest divisions, with lotteries revenue up 13.6% and wagering revenue up 5.2%. This continues the growth trends seen at half-year. With only 46 days’ contribution in the year from Tatts’ now discontinued Victorian pokies business, comparisons with last year’s reported results are distorted. After tax profits from Tatts’ continuing operations (ex Victorian pokies) lifted an impressive 40.8% to $227.4 million from revenues of $2.95 billion (up 11.0%). This result lifts to $247.3 million (from revenues of $3.12 billion) when the 46 days’ contribution from the discontinued pokies operations is included. Of course when compared to FY12, which benefited from a full-year contribution from the Group’s pokies operation, net profit after tax declined 22.5%. On the back of this strong result Tatts determined a final dividend of 7.5 cents per share taking the full- year dividend to 15.5 cents per share – amounting to a 95.1% payout of profits from continuing operations.
