Global Event '' to Air on Platforms Around the World

Late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will host a global entertainment special intended to celebrate community health workers while raising money to fight COVID-19, said ABC, CBS and NBC on Monday. The special will air Saturday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Lady Gaga is helping to curate the One World: Together at Home, bringing on such artists as Elton John, John Legend, and Paul McCartney. Other celebrities expected to appear are Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie and Finneas Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Burna Boy, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder. of Sesame Street also will be on hand.

Many celebrities already have begun hosting #TogetheratHome appearances on Instagram Live and other social platforms.

And so did John Legend, with special guest appearances from his wife Chrissy Teigen (stylishly attired in bath towels) and his kids, playing for fans for an hour.

Other celebrities, such as Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, have followed suit.

Besides celebrity appearances, the special will spotlight healthcare workers who are fighting the global pandemic on the front lines every day.

Many of the participating celebrities are on board to make multi-million dollar contributions to the World Health Organization's Solidarity Response Fund. Anyone can contribute to the fund, which goes toward fighting coronavirus around .
