“The little tower that could”: This project aspires not to compete against the forest of tall glass and metal residential towers, but rather to provide relief in both scale and massing. It is within this construct that the project seeks to complete the block and contribute to the quieter urban fabric of the neighborhood. Through the utilization of timeless tactile materials in combination with clean, modern detailing, the project seeks to provide both a reference to the past and a vision to the future in a unifi ed building design.
