THE GOOD BUT COMPROMISING KING JEHOSHAPHAT

Prophetic Word by Prophet Ken Dewey – May 27, 2019

[I heard the Lord speaking about how some LEADER/S in the Government right now will FAIL and the End will not be pleasant or good for America, because bad choice will be made. He said, the beginning was good and much good was done, but, the end will not end as many hope it will. There will be bad choices made which will be like Jehoshaphat who did well, then made bad choice to align with the evil King. I wish I did not have to speak this Word, but I speak it out of Obedience to what I have heard.]

Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah and he did many good things that were right and did not depart from doing many things right.

But,

Jehoshaphat DID NOT DESTROY THE HIGH PLACES where idol worship was conducted in Judah. Jehoshaphat ALLOWED THEM TO REMAIN. The consequences were that the People had not prepared their hearts unto God.

Today we have men considered Great Leaders who are doing many things RIGHT, but they are NOT taking away the OFFENSIVE IDOL WORSHIP. They do many good things but allow Evil to remain, and do not even try to change it. The consequences of such action will show up later down the road, because Evil is allowed to remain and affect all people.

In any Nation SIN is a reproach, and will be judged. That Leader who does allow evil to remain will go down in history as a Jehoshaphat, and will forever be remembered as one who did COMPROMISE with Evil.

Later on in Jehoshaphat's reign, he made an agreement with the Evil Ahaziah, king of Israel; the result was he DID WRONG and the Lord judged the evil alliance and the ships were broken [the battle lost]. ***COMPROMISE WITH EVIL WILL NEVER BE BLESSED. A man may be good and right in many ways, but, if he ALLOWS SIN [LIKE AN IDOL] TO REMAIN, then that compromise will be remembered and will affect many later on.

Later on [after Jehoshaphat left office...] HIS FIRSTBORN SON, Jehoram became the King over Judah. It is recorded that Jehoram did evil in the sight of the Lord, and changed many things his Father had done. ...well I guess he was greatly affected by what his father did not do!

See it here:

2 CHRONICLES 31 And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 32 And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the Lord. 33 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers. 34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the son of , who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel. 35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: 36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to : and they made the ships in Eziongaber. 37 Then the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the Lord hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.

*****[ TODAY IN AMERICA ] many leaders regardless of who they are [Pastors, Five Fold Ministry, or *President, or Leaders elected, etc] are taking strong stands against many things and doing right, but NOT IN ALL THINGS because the COMPROMISE WITH EVIL, and allow things to remain in their lives or work, which are plainly evil and wrong; for whatever reason [most likely one or two reasons: Personal Sin, or Fear of People and the cost of Change], they compromise and fall short.
