SALISBURY INFIRMARY IN-PATIENTS RECOMMENDED BY DORSET POOR LAW UNIONS 1852-1860

The following patients were recommended as in-patients by one of the Poor Law Unions in Dorset. Their details have been extracted from the “Secretary’s Register” which lists in-patients and out-patients admitted to, and discharged from, Salisbury Infirmary. The Register is held at the Wiltshire and Swindon Archives: J8/170/1 covers 10 July 1852 to 21 August 1858, and J8/170/2 covers 21 August 1858 onwards. Names have been extracted up to 31 December 1860.
