The Colleges and Universities of the College Conference of Illinois During the 2017-18 academic year, the CCIW honored and Wisconsin believe that good sportsmanship is an integral over 2,000 academic all-conference recipients, 15 CoSIDA component of intercollegiate competition. In 2014, the University of Dubuque joined the CCIW as an associate member for men’s and women’s lacrosse. The CCIW added three new associate members for wrestling in 2016, including , Concordia-Wisconsin and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The (women’s lacrosse) and Washington University in St. Louis (football) joined the CCIW as associate members in 2018.

The CCIW, which sponsors 23 sports, has carried a long tradition of excellence dating back to its inception in 1946, helping student-athletes grow in their athletic as well as educational experience. The conference looks to continue that tradition and remains dedicated to helping our student-athletes towards success.
