The name was soon shortened to Hillsboro College. With a two-person faculty and 79 students, Hillsboro prom- ised “a course of study designed to be DR. A native of Menasha, Wis., Roehl attended the University of Wiscon- sin-Oshkosh, where he graduated in 1977 with a bache- lor’s in physical education and health. He served as the boy’s basketball and baseball coach at Somers Shoreland Lutheran High School from 1979-98. Roehl, a long-time private golf instructor at Brighton Dale Golf Links in Kansasville, Wis., also served as Car- thage’s men’s basketball assistant coach for 10 years be- tween 2004 and 2013 after serving as a part-time assistant coach for four seasons between 2000 and 2003.
