3/ Pursuant to the provisions of General Assembly resolution 68/1 (20 September 2013), the programme of work of the Council was adjusted to a July-to-July cycle with immediate effect. Pursuant to Council decision 2013/265, the term of office of the Bureau for 2014 would be from the date of election until their successors are elected, which is expected to be at the beginning of the new cycle starting in July 2015, on the understanding that they remain representatives of members of the Council.
