WCC PLAYER/PITCHER OF THE WEEK SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week for March 17, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEK 2014 WCC STANDINGS CASSIDY COLEMAN, SR., RHP, SAN DIEGO (AS OF Date) Cassidy Coleman helped the Toreros go 6-1 on the week with three wins and a save. On March 13, WCC Overall Streak she held Weber State to two runs on five hits and struck out 10 batters. The following day, she held Loyola Marymount 0-0 13-10 L2 Fairleigh Dickinson to just two hits while allowing just one run. On March 15, she picked up a save after Saint Mary’s 0-0 11-15 L3 throwing two scoreless innings. On March 16, she threw her third complete game of the week, allowing San Diego 0-0 13-10 W4 just two hits while throwing a shutout. For the week, Coleman went 3-1, 1 save, 1.27 ERA, with 34 BYU 0-0 10-17 L2 strikeouts in 22 innings. Opposing batters hit just .173.
