Reports of Standing Committee on Water Resources Shri Hasmukhbhai Somabhai Patel presented the following Reports (Hindi and English versions) of the Standing Committee on Water Resources:- (1) Sixth Report (Hindi and English versions) on Action Taken by the Government on the Observations/Recommendations contained in the First Report on „Demands for Grants (2019-20)' of the Ministry of Jal Shakti - Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. Statements by Minister The Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Shri Danve Raosaheb Dadarao) laid the following (Hindi and English versions) statements regarding:- (1) the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 2nd Report on Demands for Grants 2019-20 and 3rd Report on Demands for Grants 2020-21 of the Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution pertaining to the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. (ii) Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury moved the following motion :- “That the members of this House do proceed to elect in the manner required by sub-rule (1) of rule 309 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha, fifteen members from amongst themselves to serve as members of the Committee on Public Accounts for the term beginning on the 1st May, 2021 and ending on the 30th April, 2022.” The motion was adopted.

(iii) Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury moved the following motion :- “That this House do recommend to Rajya Sabha that Rajya Sabha do agree to nominate seven members from Rajya Sabha to associate with the Committee on Public Accounts of the House for the term beginning on the 1st May, 2021 and ending on the 30th April, 2022 and do communicate to this House the names of the members so nominated by Rajya Sabha.” The motion was adopted.

(iv) Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi moved the following motion :- “That the members of this House do proceed to elect in the manner required by sub-rule (1) of rule 312B of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha, fifteen members from amongst themselves to serve as members of the Committee on Public Undertakings for the term beginning on the 1st May, 2021 and ending on the 30th April, 2022.” The motion was adopted.

(vi) Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma moved the following motion:- “That the members of this House do proceed to elect in the manner required by sub-rule (1) of rule 331B of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha, twenty members from amongst themselves to serve as members of the Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for the term beginning on the 1st May, 2021 and ending on the 30th April, 2022.” The motion was adopted.

10. Motion regarding the Report of Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 - Extension of Time

Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi moved the following motion :- "That the extension of time granted to the Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 by the House on 23rd September, 2020 for presentation of the Report upto the second week of the Winter Session of the Parliament, 2020, may be treated as extension upto last day of first week of second part of Budget Session, 2021 of Parliament." The motion was adopted.
