Packet Cover Hello! Welcome to the Bridge Church Drive-In and Online Service! Gathering together is such an important part of our society, and it is especially important for the body of Christ. We can’t wait to worship with you! This is your welcome packet! This packet includes instructions for when you arrive, guidelines for safe and responsible worship for the entirety of the event, all of the lyric sheets for this week’s music, as well as this weeks announcements. We are so excited to worship with you this Sunday morning! GUIDELINES: It is very important to us to protect both our congregation and our staff. Our instructions are simple; stay in your vehicle at all times throughout the service. While we wish we could come together outside of our vehicles, we have to be mindful of our current reality. Given this thought process, please follow the guidelines below; 1. Stay in vehicle at all times. 2. Follow our traffic team’s instruction on how and where to enter, park, and exit. 3. Feel free to roll down your windows, but please be responsible with this action and do not put others in harms way by leaning out. 4. Our building will not be open, so in the event of a bathroom break or other similar need, please understand that our facility will not be open. 5. Please refrain from honking, revving your engine, or intentionally causing any other vehicular noise during the service. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Lyrics for Worship can be found in this packet in order.     Week 1: October 25 – 31 Being ThankFULL means paying attention “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2 Being thankful is an easy thing to do, but it takes some intentionality. We often get wrapped up in enjoying our blessings and we forget to say “thank you” to God. Other times, we get so consumed by our daily concerns and worldly troubles that we fail to recognize the blessings that are certainly present even in dark days. Colossians 4:2 says “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” There is always something to be thankful for if we are watchful and paying attention. And so, the very first step to being ThankFull, is to pay attention to what is going on around you, and where God is present and at work. Resist getting swept away by the busyness of the world, but rather ground yourself in prayer. Pause. Breathe. Listen. God is present and working among the people and the moments that often go unnoticed. David was nearly overlooked to become king because he was the youngest among Jesse’s sons (1 Samuel 16). Elijah was looking for God in the strong wind and in the earthquake, but God was actually present in the still small voice (1 Kings 19). Thankfully, it was because Samuel took notice that David became king, and it was because Elijah took notice that he was able to feel God’s presence. What will we behold if we start paying attention? During this first week of ThankFULL, try to be more watchful and pay attention to the things that usually go unnoticed.

    Sunday March 15 2020 Guide for Worship Good Morning Faith Family, Even though we will not be gathered together within the walls of our church this morning, I would like to encourage us all to take time with the Lord today to speak to him and hear from him during this time of uncertainty. We hope in a God who calms all of our fears. We trust in a God above and beyond all earthly constraints.     ORDER OF SERVICE 6 September, 2020 14th Sunday after Pentecost Arusha Community Church One more month. Then we’ll be reunited in body. Until that time, our congregation continues to gather in spirit on Sundays, upholding one another in prayer, living as the Church in the light of day. Those of us in Arusha who can are asked to worship outside on our verandas this week, beginning at 10:30 am, warming our hearts under the same sun. From Ilboru down to Olasiti, and Kisongo across to Moshono, let our songs ring out as one. Together, we shall overcome this season of despair. Scripture, hymns and rites for our celebration are provided below. People with internet access can view videos with music, vocals and lyrics by tapping on the blue hyperlinks. Bread and wine, or grape juice, are needed for communion. If you wish, sit in comfortable chairs around a coffee table. An optional children’s message is included, and coloring sheets to keep small hands busy during worship are attached separately. Parents might want to print that two-page document in advance.
