2019 LEGISLATIVE INTERIM STUDIES

The deadline for House members to request interim studies was Friday, June 21. A total of 145 interim studies were submitted for Speaker Charles McCall’s consideration. This number was up slightly over the number filed for the first interim of the 56th Legislature in 2017.

Studies approved by Speaker McCall and the committee assignments will be announced no later than Friday, July 19. The deadline for Senate members to submit their study requests to Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat is also Friday, July 19.

We will continue to identify studies which may impact municipal operations. We welcome your input on these issues.
